Thank You Andrew, this is exactly what I’m looking to do.
While you are running the Nextion Screen, does the OLED still function and display any other information on it or is it dark while you are using the BT Nextion?
Thanks!

Re: OLED with USB TTL Nextion
Well, if it begins to cooperate and you can find it or you have a more elegant idea for a solution, I'd appreciate if you could post.
Thanks Again!

Re: OLED with USB TTL Nextion
Thank you for the reply. I wasn't looking for them to be too far away 5 - 10 feet would probably be fine. I just wanted to put the hotspot out the way and have the main nextion screen in a more convinient spot. Perhaps you are referring to this? https://www.dmrscotland.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/...

OLED with USB TTL Nextion
Hello All, I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not you can use BOTH an OLED connected to the MMDVM Hat AND an External Nextions screen connected via USB TTL. I was thinking it would be nice to have the OLED for basic information but have an external Nextion connected via USB or powered by USB...

Re: MMDVMHOST FM mode implementation
I have an MMDVM repeater built with two mobile radios, a duplexer, and an RB STM32-DVM board. I readily accept that when it comes to the broader field of Pi-Star users, I am in an incredibly small minority. Several months ago, I configured my Pi-Star repeater for FM by editing the pertinent section...

Re: DSTAR Repeater - Terminal Mode over TCP/IP-Bluetooth
and to your point I know there are XLX gateways out there that you can connect to via the IC-705 so perhaps it’s listening on different ports or something along those lines.

Re: DSTAR Repeater - Terminal Mode over TCP/IP-Bluetooth
Very interesting, so, in the 705 you go into Terminal mode over WiFi and place the IP of the PiStar. Is there anything In the logs to suggest what the issue is?

Re: DSTAR Repeater - Terminal Mode over TCP/IP-Bluetooth
Recieved the other USB Bluetooth Adapter today and did some testing. Initially I was having the same errors of it not seeing the default bluetooth control as I did previously. I did some additional searches and found that I needed to run bluetoothctl with elevated privleges via sudo. Controller then...

Re: DSTAR Repeater - Terminal Mode over TCP/IP-Bluetooth
BH1EWI, That's a very good point. It may not be passing that over Bluetooth, it does specifically say in Terminal Mode Setup that it can be Internal via WLAN or External via USB. This effort may prove to be a dead end. Were you able to get it paired with the IC-705? I picked up a ASUS USB-BT400 USB ...

Re: DSTAR Repeater - Terminal Mode over TCP/IP-Bluetooth
Regarding the UDEV rules, yes, I think there will need to be something in there for that but I’m not sure exactly what. We need to make sure that the icom_ta file/link gets created so that the option of selecting Icom Radio in Terminal Mode appears. I can of course fake it by leaving the USB cable p...
