Hello,
Have a dumb question.
When configuring the radios for DMR on PISTAR, do the radios have to be configured 12.5KHZ narrowband or 25KHZ wideband?
I have been running my repeater wideband with no problems however, i can't get a coordination from the state repeater council.
Thanks
Mike W8VPC

recever/transmitter settings 12.5, 20 or 25 khz?
I put together a Pi_STAR DMR repeater using 2 Motorola CM200's. I'm not interested in enabling the other modes, so it will be DMR only. I programmed both transmitter and receiver bandwidth at 12.5KHZ which i figured DMR is narrowband. I had other ham operators tell me i had to configure both radios ...

DMR NET goes offline when using DMR Gateway for BM and TGIF networks
Another issue popped up. My repeater was configured to have TGIF on slot 1 and Brandmeister on slot 2. DMR Master was set to DMR Gateway. everything was working well until I enabled FM Mode. Now DMR NET goes offline after a few seconds. Both networks have security password protection enabled. If i c...

Re: Does the ST32DVM board support FM mode?
Was able to get the FM option to work only after upgrading the firmware of the ST32DVM board.
Now to figure out what all the settings mean and what they do lol!

Re: Does the ST32DVM board support FM mode?
TNX for the reply. The ST32DVM board is connected to two Motorola CM200's running full duplex mode. So FM mode should work. Repeater identifies every 10 minutes. I'm also using a cable assembly made by the same company that makes the ST32DVM board. I will email them and see if they have any suggesti...

Does the ST32DVM board support FM mode?
I put together another repeater with the ST32DVM board and two mobile radios. As of now, the repeater is configured DMR only. I noticed there is support for FM analog mode in pistar expert settings. Does the ST32DVM board support this mode directly? If so, what do I need to do to enable the mode? Tn...

Re: TGIF Lands in Pi-Star
Andy, I followed your instructions to allow the use TGIF and Brandmeister on my PI-Star repeater. I noticed the thread was from 2018. I have a problem. We use TGIF talk group 2416 so i configured the radio to use slot 1 for TGIF. All of a sudden i'm getting calls from Sweden which is TG 2416 on Bran...

Re: default settings for tgif network - not passing audio?
Thanks for the tips!
I was able to get the hotspot working. Set Node Type to public.
Also corrected parrot.
Now to try to figure out why audio passes through on a Allunce HD-1 but not a Motorola XPR-6550 lol!
(i think i know the answer to that lol!)
