New OLED idle screen...
I'm sure the OLED idle screen when screen saver and scrolling were enabled, would just scroll the MMDVM bitmap across the top of the OLED right to left? I think this has changed with 4.1.8 and 4.2.0b where the idle screen now scrolls bottom right to top left, with extended info in the idle screen. A...

Re: 4.2.0 Beta feedback
I am pretty sure both of those relate to the same issue - I'll take a look. EDIT: Should now be cured It has - thanks Andy. Keep up the good work. I've updated a second hotspot and both now update without errors. (my second one (a generic duplex) won't update FW - but I suspect it's locked at the m...

Re: 4.2.0 Beta feedback
I have a couple of hotspots. I've just dropped V4.2.0 on to a simplex hotspot and restored my previous 4.1.8 config Modem is a generic HS_Hat, running v1.6.1 firmware on a PiZ2W. Device is connected LAN via an Amazon Firestick LAN adaptor rather than wifi - has always worked fine in this config. Upd...

NX4827T043 - Duplex layout
I've done a bit of a swap about here and upgraded one of my hotspots to a dual HAT. I've then added a 4.3 basic Nextion screen and using PD0DIB's NX4827T043_Model 10-4.3inch_DPLX_Basic_v1.05.hmi build. ON7LDS driver is loaded and populating the fields on the idle screen. What I have noticed and I ca...

Re: No time announcement...
Just a note: the convention is that the node ID (on repeaters, at least) is tied to the frequency band... B indicates 70cm, C indicates 2m, and A is used for 23cm. D is used for digital /data/ nodes. Hotspot probably doesn't matter unless one is running a spot for each band, or has opened it up to ...

Re: No time announcement...
DStar repeaters are designated with ID letters A, B, C and D. Your selection to use 'M' is probably the issue. Set it to A, C or D and it will probably work correctly. I assume its a server side issue where it isn't sending the time message, probably because at some point in the alphabet time messa...

Re: No time announcement...
OK - After resetting, reflashing, interchanging backups, swapping hardware about, I have figured out what seems to be stopping the time announcement from working on my PiZ. The PiZ unit has RPT1 set with a "M" suffix, so as to differentiate it from the Pi2B (RPT ID "B"). The Pi2B...

No time announcement...
I have a PiZ W - with MMDVM hat. It is configured with D-Star enabled only. (I also have another on a PiB/MMDVM for DMR). The PiZ seems to have stopped issuing Time Announcements for D-Star, even though it is enabled in config. It doesn't seem to make any difference if the PiZ is connected to a refl...

Re: Dashboard display static/dynamic TG ???
The various postings I read and videos I watched, i interpreted that in the expected layout, that you could add dynamic talkgroups from the dropdown menu, as well as drop either the active group or all of them from the buttons.. This is also shown in the wiki on this page: http://wiki.pistar.uk/PI-S...
