Problem solved.
The cron on the pi-star was unchanged, but cron on my Mac contained the following entry:
00 11 * * * ssh pi-star.local -l pi-star 'sudo pistar-link unlink'
I have no idea why I put that in. What a pillock!

Recently my MMDVM (which has been working fine for several years) has started dropping whatever reflector it's connected to at 11:00 every day. The cron file is unchanged and this doesn't just happen on one reflector. I use REF055D regularly and just monitor the reflector for any DStar pictures, so ...
