Workaround seems to work but after reboot the pi-star the issue is back. At least for me.

Re: Loss of ttyAMA0 with 4.2.0
Bob, I saw this on the other post. I have not have a chance to try it. https://forum.pistar.uk/viewtopic.php?p=24271&fbclid=IwAR21r0b8pRCURRqmCjytiSiaYMMP5udnBMZkHd-r5eI4Y86ulhcJqU8ZOG4 I never deleted the ttyAMA0, I just unlinked it. I will try that when I get home and -recreates a special file...

Re: Loss of ttyAMA0 with 4.2.0
/dev/ttyAMA0 is now linked to /dev/pts/0 I can temporarily fix it by recreating the node and doing an update to restart services, but if I reboot the hotspot it reverts to /dev/ttyAMA0 linked to /dev/pts/0 Bob, NS2B Bob, I have 7 pi-star hotspots with 4.2.0 at the QTH, they did not have this issue....

Re: 4.3.0 Beta feedback
4.3.0 with pi 3 model A+, generic STM32 HAT I've got "Cannot get the control attributes for /dev/ttyAMA0" In /dev directory I noticed serial0 -> ttyAMA0. However ttyAMA0 is symlinked to /dev/pts/0 serial console. MODE STATUS went red. Because of this I believe PI-STAR does not see my HAT t...

Re: Roger beep?
Not sure what radio you have. Most will be in TX/RX setting , look for Standby Beep, you can turn it off. It won't beep any more after you let go of PTT.
AMS on it will beep when you first RX signal, off it won't.

Re: Pi-Star DMR Net Turns Red and Won't Connect to Private XLX Reflector
In your pi-star setting for DMR I am assuming you are using xlx master?
Did you add 2 more digits SSID after your DMR ID?
XLX does not like 9 digits ID, make sure 7 digits ID only. Just set SSID to none.
Did you try other XLX?
That is all I can think of. GL & 73, Kit

Re: M1ABC call on dashboard after update
Same here, have this issue for sometime now. The CLI above did not resolve the issue, still get the error. The easiest way for me is to just click apply changes in the Configuration tab and deal with it. I have 8 pi-star hotspots to redo with fresh image, however I can 2nd that, if I do the fresh im...

Re: IP44 and pi-star hotspot
Yes, 44.x.x.x net
At any rate, pi-star firewall be so tight or something. I have DVSWITCH and AMBE server on 44 network and one laptop no issue at all.
I just moved all my hotspots back to home network.

IP44 and pi-star hotspot
Folks, Is anyone here using pi-star on IP44? I was granted a few 44 IP addresses. Setting up tunnel gateway at home QTH. I have an old laptop running Debian 10. I can do things I normally would with the home IP addresses. I assigned my pi-star hotspot running the latest update / upgrades. Mmdvm hat ...
