Re: MMVDM No RX or TX

I have made some progress. I had a few things set wrong in the hotspot. I am now able to receive, but no transmit. The hotspot does not respond. I have calibrated the hot spot receiver to my radio transmit freq, but noting. Yes I had a similer problem with a previous hotspot - it wasn't working at a...

MMVDM No RX or TX

I have a new MMDVM pi-star duplex hotspot. I have configured the hot spot to 433.5500 RX and 438.550 TX. I have an Anytone 878UV II 2 and have programmed a couple channels to the freq listed and also the same TG with reverse freq as listed and created Zone for this setup. I know the Anytone is TX on...

Re: MMDVM not Working in Duplex mode

I don’t think reimage will help. No leds. Even with sad card out you should get a led power light up. Nothing happens.

I have a couple other hotspots same brand same model. None of these have shown any of the symptoms this one has.

Re: MMDVM not Working in Duplex mode

The Frequency in the image was taken before I change to 433/439. I did check to make sure the Anytine radio was transmitting at the correct freq as well as receiving on the correct freq. The MMDVM Hotspot had failed! The response when in Configuration was getting slower and slower taking up to 10 se...

MMDVM not Working in Duplex mode

I have a "Jstvro" duplex pi-star hot spot. It works great in simplex mode, but when I change it to duplex mode, it does not respond to any transmission I make. I have the RX freq set to 430.4625 and the TX freq is 439.4625. The radio modem is set to STM32-DVM / MMDVM_HS - Raspberry Pi Hat ...

Hello from Newport, Oregon

Hi All, I'm new to DMR and pi-star and trying to learn as much as I can quickly so I'll be able to enjoy this mode of communication. I've been a ham for about 50 years and in the past my primary operation mode was CW and contesting. I moved recently to Newport Oregon and haven't had time to put up a...
