Seeking the op of a DMR hotspot in/near Southgate St, Bury St Edmunds, UK
Are you the operator of a DMR hostpot with output on 438.8MHz located in or near Southgate St, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK. Or do you know who they might be? The hotspot seems to be static on TG91. I seem to have a frequency collision with them, but I am only in this QTH for a month and don't have ...

Re: APRS DISABLE?
It looks like the OM is using Phoenix not Brandmeister.
It also looks like the APRS is coming in via RF not the network.

Re: A bit broken since today's update.
Latest update is looking promising, with DMR and D-STAR seemingly working OK.
Thanks for the quick fix.

Re: A bit broken since today's update.
The latest updates seems to have restored DMR (via UK BM server) functionality here. However, D-STAR does seem to be broken. Using the ircddbremote app on my phone, I dial up a D-STAR reflector, and the dashboard shows that reflector is connected, but there are no link state voice announcements and ...

Re: A bit broken since today's update.
OK, there is some evidence of badness happening in /var/log/syslog. This is not necessarily consistent with any of the scenarios I described above, but then I'm not really sure what the actual problem that I'm reporting is, other than general buggeration. pi-star@pi-star(ro):~$ tail -f -n 50 /var/lo...

A bit broken since today's update.
Hi, There seems to be a degree of buggeration in my hotspot with today's updates. I've not been experiencing it long enough to be able to succinctly describe it but I'll try. It's a dual mode DSTAR and DMR simplex hotspot on a dual-band DVMEGA on FW HR3.18. All was working nicely, but since the upda...

Re: ircddbremote app Iphone
It seems to be working OK here for me on my iPad, running iPadOS 14.4.2 and iPhone running IOS 14.4.2. Looking in the App Store, the app hasn't been updated for 5 years. My hotspot is running PiStar 4.1.4.
Perhaps it is a networking issue?

Re: Apparently my D74 transmits DSTAR when it is turned off.
I'm quite convinced that the D74 is doing the transmitting. The BER reported by the Pi-Star dashboard (and log) is: a) 0%, if the D74 was left with a VFO in D-STAR mode, on the hotspot frequency, or b) 14%, if the D74 was left with no VFO in D-STAR mode and not tuned to the hotspot frequency. I'm fa...

Re: Apparently my D74 transmits DSTAR when it is turned off.
Hot news. I have apparently confirmed that the D74 does transmit D-STAR whilst turned off! My IC-R30's Rx History clearly shows a transmission from the Pi-Star hotspot as G0HWW/INFO at 0320z followed by a transmission from G0HWW/D74 at 0353z. That is consistent with what is shown in the dashboard an...

Re: Apparently my D74 transmits DSTAR when it is turned off.
Thanks for the responses. I have tried to attach a screenshot, but I am told that the forum quota has been exceeded, which isn't entirely helpful. The Pi-Star dashboard shows an entry under Local RF Entries and under Gateway Activity, which is entirely consistent with a 0.4 second transmission by th...
