Anyone know why I cannot connect my pi-star to my xlx reflector on the same network? Has anyone else done this before??

You need to go to the BM dashboard and use the "Selfcare" to set your password, make sure they match in Pi-star and the BM dashboard.

I would look into dyndns updating via a bash shell script and a cronjob to update on a schedule, ive seen a few out there. I use a bash script for godaddy to update my ip if it changes.
