Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus Rev 1.3: which image?
Moin,
I used to use a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus Rev 1.3 together with pi-star and a MMDVM. Basis was Raspbian jessie.
Now I want upgrade. But neither the image for Pi-Star_NanoPi_Air nor Pi-Star_NanoPi_V3.4.17 boot.
Any hint?

Reading TX / RX status via CLI
Moin,
is there a chance to read the HF status (mmdvm transmitting oder mmdvm receiving) from the commandline? Like reading the temperature
echo "$(cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp) / 1000" | bc

Re: /var/log/ after the update jessie -> stretch
Moin, I see: In jessie the directory was created in the /lib/systemd/system/nginx.service: ExecStartPre=/bin/mkdir -p /var/log/nginx But this entry disapered with nginx 1.10.3 An other possibility is to use /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/var.conf. The next possibility is to use the write back feature for the R...

/var/log/ after the update jessie -> stretch
Moin, after many years in which my MMDVM/pi-star was running reliably I wanted to install new software again and had to find out that jessie is out of date. So I made an update to stretch. That worked so far. However, some programs do not start because the corresponding directories in the RAM-disk /...

Re: Make Pi* HTTPS capable
Moin Florian, Dear fellows, I am experimenting with making Pi* use HTTPS in order to prevent recent browsers from displaying warning messages about self signed certificates etc Has anyone come up with a solution to that? May extending the config options to allow for upload of certificates? For publi...
