We test it and the software supports FM mode, but it is not "official".
Is that the status on the MMDVM development site? If so, I'm pretty certain Pi-Star won't include it until it does go "official".

Re: DMR and Dstar not coexisting

Is the D-STAR radio configured for digital, or analog FM. If you are hearing noise, it sounds very much like you have it passing analog FM. DMR (on my system) results in squelch opening (Rx LED active), but no data is decoded by the D-STAR radio.

Re: APRS and GPS

I had a GPS plugged in and was able to see coordinates in the logs by turning on debug messages, but I wasn't ever able to get it to do anything. I also couldn't find any instructions on how it was supposed to work either. Perhaps https://nq4t.com/making-my-hotspots-beacon-aprs-is-w-real-time-conne...

Re: No longer see Pi-Star WiFi and can't connect browser

May have booted without an IP and is hosting its own IP. When searching for WiFi networks do you see pistar setup? If so, reboot. If the OP is able to communicate using it, then it is NOT in auto-ap mode, as the DMR traffic has to be passed to some server... {For the OP} However, a cached DNS recor...

Re: BM SSID SUFFIX

In your hotspot configuration, use your 7-digit personal DMR ID followed by “01”, for a total of 9-digits. (For example: 206094501). If you have more than one hotspot, use the suffix 02, 03, etc. ..." Has Brandmeister made a change? So far as I know (and mine has been running for two years) if one ...

Re: mmdvm-calibration D-Star

Hello again, In this setup, there are no tx or rx offset. I use 2 analog radios connected to an mmdvm repeater board. That's why I want to know the best way to fine tune the audio levels for the mmdvm board / pistar. The calibration procedure, as I understand, is used to adjust for frequency misali...

Re: Uanble to perform callsign routing?

Per the N6FN "Nifty" manual for the D74... (I've only made use of reflectors, and have not actually tried any of this) 1. Select the repeater that I'm routing from: AI5OS--b, whre b is in the 8th position, RPT2 is AI5OS--g, with g in the 8th position. First make sure the radio is in DR mode, and not...

Re: SD CARD CAPACITY?

The extra space may be viable when doing update/upgrade -- providing more space to buffer the downloaded packages as they get installed. For general R-Pi usage, a larger card offers more opportunity for wear-leveling from temporary file, but since Pi-Star puts such into a RAM disk, that doesn't apply.
