Re: 'Repeater Not Found' message from Anytone 868

Learning to set up a code plug using the programmer is highly recommended. On a DMR radio a channel is not just a frequency (pair). Every channel has: Tx frequency Rx frequency (for simplex hotspots these are the same) Color Code (most hotspots use CC 1) Time Slot (simplex hotspots use TS 2) TALK GR...

Re: XLX Reflector sporadically not appearing in Pi-Star list

You'll likely need to ask the folks who control the master sources... Running diff on yesterday and today resulted in: [email protected](ro):~$ diff /usr/local/etc/XLXHosts.txt.20190614 /usr/local/etc/XLXHosts.txt 6c6 < # Updated Thursday 13th of June 2019 08:13:10 AM BST --- > # Updated Friday 14t...

Re: DMR ID Registration Problem

I was not aware of the need to list equipment on your licence in China, it does seem to make for difficulty in operating. The UK licence schedule states frequency and power limits, but generally does not specify operating modes. We are not legally subject to band plans, whereas in the US licensees ...

Re: Using ipv6 and Pi-Star 4.0.0.RC4?

Is that for LAN and WAN or only WAN targets? Does traceroute/tracert get anywhere before failing? If you can ping LAN targets with IPV6 mode, but not WAN targets, then something in your router or ISP is blocking IPV6. Interesting... my Pi-Star system -- 3.4.17 -- has separate ping and ping6 commands...

Re: Using ipv6 and Pi-Star 4.0.0.RC4?

I dunno either, I've not messed with any of that. On mine my router is setup for IPv6 passthrough, and my Pi's have both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, but it doesn't ever seen to use IPv6 when I ping addresses or anything. From what I can see most of the information out there with Pi's and IPv6 is how t...

Re: Pi star setup

I'm having major issues trying to open the dashboard via the server. Why does one have to connect to a server to configure a pi star. I'll echo the question: "What server?" Do you mean a router? I'm also presuming you mean via an ethernet cable I should be able to connect the pi direct to my laptop...

Re: Trying to understand the dashboard

I have ten channels, one hotspot and nine repeaters. I have only been able to utilize one of the repeaters so far while mobile, as my work and home are not within range of any repeaters. All my channels are almost identical. I only posted this one for reference. See two quotes down... I set the tim...

Re: DMR ID Registration Problem

While DMR is a mode, your Chinese license appears to specify exactly which radio(s) you are authorized to operate. The rejection is that your license does not show that you are authorized to operate any specific DMR radio. The radios on your license do not have DMR modes (if one of them does have DM...

Re: DMR ID Registration Problem

Pasting an email address isn't useful... The only thing that pops out at me is that the second document appears to list specific radios/serial numbers (not sure of the HS-1A -- the only thing I find in Google is a aeronautic headset). If, as it appears, one needs to have the radio listed on that par...
