Re: No access to "http://pi-star.local/"

Any suggestions to correct the issue please? "Any" suggestions? Reboot the router. Though before that you might want to connect to the router control pages and examine any information regarding connected clients, and settings for LAN isolation (I think I've heard of some routers being configured to...

Re: Is "Talker Alias" adequate for legal ID in the USA

D-Star embeds the call-sign within transmissions, and the FCC accepts that embedded call for ID. Since it is embedded within each transmission, the 10-minute ID interval doesn't really apply (If no transmissions in 10 minutes, no need to ID; if a transmission occurs, it counts as the ID). DMR IDs, h...

Re: Pi-Star HTTP interface becomes unreachable with '504 Gateway Time-out'

Unclear: Are you accessing the web page from /outside/ the LAN? Since SSH from /inside/ is working, I'd tend to think HTTP from /inside/ might also work. The answer will isolate where to look... If HTTP /inside/ the LAN is failing, then I'd be investigating the server and any common components (rout...

Re: Rewrite Rules in Simplex Node

Yes, I have a simplex hotspot. No, TS1 is not enabled, it is disabled. The question is, where are the rewrite rules for TS1 defined, in Pi-Star or in the Master server? As I understand it, there are no time slot rewrite rules for simplex hotspots. The hotspot only captures/sends TS2. Assignment of ...

Re: Zumspot with Pistar won’t autolink

Well, the somewhat obvious question is:

Have you tested when configured for some other reflector? 030C for example?

That will help determine if the problem is on your end, or is perhaps specific to the requested reflector.

Re: TS1 Disabled?

Time slots are specific to the radio NODE one is connecting on (ie: between your radio and the repeater/hotspot; same with color code). They mean nothing to the various masters that handle talk group routing. It is the repeater owner/operator who decides which talk groups appear on which time slot (...

Seem like installing [email protected](ro):~$ apt search dos2unix Sorting... Done Full Text Search... Done dos2unix/stable 7.4.0-1 armhf convert text file line endings between CRLF and LF would be easier than remembering some cryptic substitution command  Of course, from my viewpoint, I woul...

I cannot set the clock - the date command fails and says that it cannot (I say will not) update the clock - it is 2 days out. For future -- please cut&paste the exact command and result text. "the date command fails" could mean anything from lack of privilege to set the clock, incorrect syntax for ...
