Re: Not heared at all

As exported to tab-separated file (using Kenwood's MCP-D74 program), my hotspot entry in the repeater list (I don't even know if one could configure a regular memory channel for this stuff): Wn World Region Cn Country Gn Group Callsign Gateway Lockout Name Sub Name Frequency Shift Offset Mode Uplink...

Page 23 in the manual.

On the wireless settings configuration.

Its 2 down from "Band Steering"

EDIT: Advanced shows the option ("Automatic" on/off) and bandwidth for the bands.
Looks like it moved up and got renamed "Additional SSID"

Changed USB port, but nothing. Changed USB cable and voila! It's working!
Any chance that was a /charge-only/ cable. Some devices come with cables that don't have data-lines, just the voltage lines.

Re: Pistar on Raspberry Pi 4

Bandwidth: 2.4 GHz: 20 MHz (there's also a 20/40 MHz option) 5.0 GHz: 80 MHz (there's also 20 and 40 MHz options) If those options do what I think -- 80MHz bandwidth implies using four 20MHz WiFi channels in parallel. I suspect the R-Pi hardware doesn't support that. Might not even support 40MHz (t...

Re: BM -Static TG issue

I don't think simplex hotspots can have more than one static talkgroup. I've tried multiple statics on my simplex spots without success. Really? Re: ZUMSpot + Hytera MD782 _ TGIF net - ZS not receiving

On the MD-782 I have TG "31665" in my contact list (Group Call), the right channel/frequency (simplex confirmed), CC1, TS2 (also tried TS1), ScanList, RX List, my ID in the MD-782 is right and matches what's on the ZUMSpot (also works with the OS1 and is the same as on my AnyTone 878), etc. As for ...

Re: ZUMSpot + Hytera MD782 _ TGIF net - ZS not receiving

I don't see anything in there stating the CHANNEL configuration is configured for that talk group! A DMR Channel requires, at a minimum: Tx/Rx frequencies TS CC and the specific CONTACT (talk group for Group contacts, DMR ID for Private contacts) that channel will address. Note: I don't use "scan gr...

Re: Upgrade feedback question

I got this while trying to do an upgrade via Pi-Star today. Which means what? To me, "Pi-Star" is the entire OS&application suite running on some Raspberry-Pi. I normally use PuTTY to open a SSH terminal (though I've recently discovered that one of the Window10 updates has installed a native SSH cl...

Re: Micro SD card

You could try this: Borrowed from one of my earlier posts download https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/ select options and set format type to either FULL (Erase), or FULL (Overwrite), that will process every sector of the disk, instead of just quickly writing the partition table. It will tak...

Re: [DMR Network 3] HBlink enable revert removed ?

From other comments I've read, this is not specific to your particular case. It seems that once one makes a change using "expert" mode, one must make all further changes using "expert" mode. Changes made using the simplified page tend to result in defaults being applied to most fields that are on th...
