Hi Andy, can you provide a current Pi-Star image WITHOUT THE NEXTION DRIVER IMPLEMENTED?
I'm installing the Nextion drivers manually. I'd be interested to know if that works?
Thanks!

Re: 4.3.2 / 4.3.3 / 4.3.4 Beta Feedback

Hello Andy,

unfortunately the Nextion drivers from ON7LDS in the current Pi-Star image (V4.2.3 or V4.2.2) for the USB interface (USB to TTL) are not well implemented, there are a lot of problems! Maybe you can renew the driver integration! Thank you!

Re: PrivateCall: Brandmeister or IPSC2 (DMR+)

The solution for a dual HS is simple:

- PC on the DUAL HS TS1 goes into the BM network
- PC on the DUAL HS TS2 goes into the IPSC2 network

[DMR Network 1]
Enabled=1
Address=2162.master.brandmeister.network
Port=62031
PassAllPC0=1
PassAllTG0=1
#PassAllPC1=2
PassAllTG1=2
Password="My Password ...

Re: PrivateCall: Brandmeister or IPSC2 (DMR+)

To enable the DMR network to be selected before sending the private call: “Brandmeister” OR “IPSC2 (DMR+)”

If it is not possible with the single hotspot, would there be a solution for the dual hotspot?

Re: PrivateCall: Brandmeister or IPSC2 (DMR+)

Hello,

"PassAllPC0=2"
It is clear to me that this line routes all private calls to the BM network! (rewrite rules)
The single HS only has one time slot!
The question again, maybe someone has the solution?

How can I control on the single hotspot whether a private call (example: PC2327114)
a) is ...

PrivateCall: Brandmeister or IPSC2 (DMR+)

Hello DMR friends,

a question about PrivatCall:
Is there a way to configure the DMR gateway on a SINGLE HOTSPOT (Jumbo) with PiStar so that you can select which network the private call is routed to when I call a radio friend with PrivatCall?? I have DMR friends in the Brandmeister network and ...

BM password is lost!

Hi there,

if I load my Pi-Star setting (zip file) onto a new Pi-Star image and then the call sign and ID etc. change (for a different call sign, radio friend) Pi-Star no longer remembers the Brandmeister password. Recognizable by an empty Brandmeister hotspot security field ("configuration" page ...

Brandmeister: The "handoff timer" annoys repeater and hotspot users.....

Hello,

DMR-Brandmeister "handoff timer" annoys repeater and hotspot users ......
The "handoff timer" for talk groups in "selfcare" can end a QSO at the hotspot or repeater suddenly!
