Thanks for this post. It helped to to install new pistar version on raspberry pi 3b+ und 4 successfully.
Good hint was the firmware update and to copy the backup zip file directly an the sd card.
Everything works very well, only the password for admin in the pi-star dashboard changed to user pi ...

Hello,
maybe he changes his IP Adress due to your router to the inetrnet. It has dhcp to give your pistar hotspot a new ip address as wifi. Watch in your outer, if tehre has been assigned a new ip address. use this ip adrees in your webborwser to connect to your hotspot.

Here in Germany I use a T-mobile or Telecom router. You can give the raspberry pi a manual wlan ip-address,which is lower than x.x.x.20.
But watch out, which is address the router has got and do not double ip addresses.
If you do it in that way, you now your IP address and the dhcp-Server ...
