Re: Accessing Dashboard using Windows 10
Hi Thanks very much for your thoughts on the problem. I really don't understand why you are so adamant that it has nothing to do with the operating system. If I attempt to connect via the same router using Windows 7 & 10 to the same device and 1 works and the other doesn't then logically it poin...

Re: Accessing Dashboard using Windows 10
Hi Roy Thank you for your reply. Apologies for missing out important information but, by the time I had described the problem, I forgot that I hadn't covered everything  One of the first things I tried a few days ago was to ping the hotspot which it does with no problem. I just tried ipconfig ...

Accessing Dashboard using Windows 10
Hi I know similar questions have been asked before but after looking at them I realised that I couldn't find any that specifically mentioned a Windows 10 problem. The background - I have a homebrew hotspot using a Pi Zero W and a simplex MMDVM HAT. There is a Nextion attached and it has worked perfe...

In DMR id Lookup what does the number 24 signify?
Hi
I'm still looking for the location of the names which are displayed on my Nextion screen. Does anybody know what the 24 actually means in the DMR id Lookup part of the MMDVM Host under 'Expert Editor'? I could be on the wrong track but I've had no suggestions so far.

John

Re: 2.4" Nextion Model 8 Temperature Indication
Hi Last night whilst editing the home and DMR screens I found the problem with the temperature display on the DMR screen, The problem was that there were hidden items under that field and by moving the text to the left I had avoided them. I have moved them to an unused part of the screen and I can n...

Re: 2.4" Nextion Model 8 Temperature Indication
Hi Rob I managed to get the temperature display on the DMR screen working (and probably on the other mode screens too) by moving it to the left and using left justified rather than centre. Why that works I'm not sure but it does! On the Dash screen I get no information but I'm not bothered about tha...

2.4" Nextion Model 8 Temperature Indication
Hi I'm a newcomer to this so please excuse my basic question. I have a model 8 simplex screen running and I have 1 or 2 problems. On the idle screen the temperature is displayed without problems (although the value is often different to the dashboard) but on the DMR screen I get either only the firs...
