Re: Expert DStarRepeater

I let the normal config do the setup then I edit the dstar configs in expert and it changes all the callsigns for everything to what I edit in the expert mode. It didn't do that in v3 but it is now in v4. I really would like to use v4 and edit the callsigns for what we need. I don't know what is go...

Re: Expert DStarRepeater

The need to have D-Star on a different callsign doesn't have anything to do with Pi-Star. We need D-Star on a different callsign for reasons unrelated to how Pi-Star works. The Repeater is coordinated under a callsign that is different from the clubs D-Star Callsign. So not related to Pi-Star but I...

Re: CW ID Customized

Okay, thanks for the explanation. I suggested to Andrew, M1DNS, some time ago that it might be a good idea to have a category in the forum for repeater operators, since the requirements for repeater operators can vary so significantly from the general operation of personal, low power hotspots. This...

Re: How can i manage Pocsag-commands in Pistar ssh?

Why to focus only to one (my) country ? Is my bussiness how many countries i watch. ... Please read the topic from beginning - at end is a request to extend the blacklist with more chars. No need from you to produce unnecessary challenges here in this topic. Simple. And keep it simple. I already re...

Re: DMO Mode

Yes, well most accurately, yes and no. XLX is not exactly normal DMR, it does not listen to the Options Line, so you need to think about how it works. The connectivity is UDP, so yes you need to make a /root/ipv4.fw file, add your iptables rule (because yes 8880 is not a standard port for Pi-Star). ...

Re: A NEW QUESTION . . REFLECTOR DISCONNECT

a call to 4000 should drop the YSF connection, so using YSF2DMR on its own, just TG 4000, using DMRGateway with YSF2DM, then TG 7004000.
I'm not near my radio to test this - but that should do it.

The /etc/host file workaround runs like a champ.

Thanks for being awesome and doing great things with Pi-star!
And thanks for being equally awesome and saving me some work (for now) :)
