KE8DPF, I checked my M17 MMDVM log (no BER and Loss data) and the log from my DMR hotspot which did have the BER and Loss data in the log and showing on the dashboard. Thank you for the very accurate answer to my question.

Re: Loss & BER Not Showing on Dashboard
Thank you KE8DPF, I'll take a look at the MMDVM log just to make sure the data isn't there.

Loss & BER Not Showing on Dashboard
The dashboard is showing dashes instead of the "Loss" and "BER". Anyone know why this would happen? What is Pi-Star's source for the Loss and BER? Pi-Star is up to date for upgrades & updates. Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: MMDVMCAL <speed> <port>?
I could not get the pistar version of MMDVMCal working. The command "sudo pistar-mmdvmcal 115200 /dev/ttyAMA0" just showed "Finnished..." when run but "sudo MMDVMCal 115200 /dev/ttyAMA0" did work.

Re: MMDVMCAL <speed> <port>?
I was able to get MMDVMCal working with "sudo MMDVMCal 115200 /dev/ttyAMA0"
"115200" is the modem speed set in pi-star: configuration/expert/MMDVM_Host
"/dev/ttyAMA0" is the modem serial port which is also listed in: configuration/expert/MMDVM_Host

Re: Info on M17 on Pi-Star?
I modified pi-star for M17 support and built MMDVM 1.6.0. I have used a HackRF One to monitor the hotspot and UV380 M17 transmissions and they look good and are on frequency. I have tuned the hotspot RX frequency for a BER of around 3% The hotspot will activate when I transmit on the UV380 and Droid...

Info on M17 on Pi-Star?
I'm having trouble getting M17 to work on my pi-star hotspot. It works with DroidStar but my UV380G with OpenRTX can't communicate with pi-star. I have DMR, P25 and YSF running on an identical hotspot so I need some M17 specific help. I know M17 isn't supported officially so I can't get help here so...

MMDVMCAL <speed> <port>?
I'm trying to run pistar-mmdvmcal and get a "usage mmdvmcal <speed> <port>" error and it doesn't run.
What is the format for the <port> parameter?
What would the speed be for an MMDVM_HS_HAT?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Rob K9OJ

Re: MMDVM hs dual not upgrade
I soldered JP1 on my dual_hat and no joy on the flash but after I selected "None" on both the display and port (display was already "None") the flash was successful. Thank you WB0NRE for the tip.
