Re: Nextion display causes problems in C4FM mode

At first, thanks for your response. I have tried both of your suggestions, but it does not help: I have set the MMDVM display type to 'None' in the configuration (so everything is still connected). The Nextion display returns to the 'static' standby display as a result. At the same moment the dashbo...

Nextion display causes problems in C4FM mode

I am using Nextion displays in combination with 3 of my my hotspots (DVMega with RaspberryPi model 2 and 3). I have 2 x 3.5 inch and 1 x 3.2 inch enhanced models with the model 8 Globe screen images from Rob PD0DIB (without the ON7LDS drivers which I do not need). It works fine in the modes DMR and ...

Re: Turn-off Wifi when connected to LAN - PiZero

CAUTION: I have found a serious problem when using the command rfkill, see my edit in the original post: I have ( I thought I had ), finally, found a simple work-around to disable wifi when connected to LAN. You have to use SSH access in the Expert mode, and typing the following command: sudo rfkil...

Additional USB port required for Nextion

I am using my Nextion 3.2 "" screen together with a TTL-USB adapter which is connected to one of my RPI 3b USB ports. In addition, my DVMega/ Bluestack combination which is my 'modem' is also using an USB port. It appears that in both cases USB0 is used in Pi-Star for both ports, and this results in...

Re: No connection with DCS007 any more with 4.0.0

I have just heard that some other stations also have problems with connecting to this reflector. It is still not clear what is happening, I will investigate it with some other hams here in Holland. I will keep you updated! Thanks for your quick replies Andrew! 73's, Tom PA2TSL UPDATE: The most recen...

Re: No connection with DCS007 any more with 4.0.0

I have no other hotspot connected to that reflector.
My other hotspot was turned off after having it unlinked from the current reflector.

No connection with DCS007 any more with 4.0.0

I have a problem with the new PiStar version 4.0.0-RC2 in D-Star mode: it is not possible to connect to the DCS007 reflector any more. I get the audio message from my ID-31E 'not linked', and the display shows the message 'DCS007B is busy'. This happens only with this reflector, I can make connectio...

Re: Turn-off Wifi when connected to LAN - PiZero

Maybe this could be an 'enhancement' in the Pi-Star image. Unfortunately, I do not have the expertise to create that script.

Turn-off Wifi when connected to LAN - PiZero

Hello all, I have a LAN to USB adapter in use with my PiZero - Jumbospot hotspot. This works fine, and it is much more stable compared with the Wifi option. This is, to my opinion, the best solution when the hotspot is on a fixed location. However, it appears that the Wifi is not turned off when the...
