Re: ID-52 High BER only when sending photos

I have resolved my issue. So BER when doing this test with fast data is to be expected. My issue is that there is too much jutter /instability in my wifi network. I put an Ethernet adapter on my hotspot and plugged it into my switch, and I can send flawless pictures now.

Customization of the channel/CC/Slot display line

I have a single radio ZumSpot running DMR. I am using an Anytone 878 with this setup. On my display, the very last line is a line that looks to be derived from what Pi-Star is sending it. The line show <TG NUMBER> CC:<COLOR CODE> T<SLOT NUMBER>.

For instance, right now, it shows:
3100 CC:01 T1

Does Wires-X passthrough do anything on DMR2YSF mode?

I know what Wires-X passthrough does when you are running YSF, but it is unclear if it does anything when selected while using DMR2YSF mode.

Any idea if this does anything?

Stick with the full no as its own Tg in the radio.
your talking to YSF as a talkgroup.
ie 70+5digit YSF reflector id no.
Tg 7012345
Awesome, Thanks Andy!

Re: How do you disconnect from YSF when using DMR2YSF with DMRGateway?

Playing around I discovered the answer. You need to send a PC 7004000 and it disconnects you from whatever YSF or FCS reflector you are on.

Another dumb smart guy question

I have the latest pi-star version set. I only have DMR and DMR2YSF configured using DMRGateway.

Now I know how to link to XLX AND DMR+ by going to their respective single-digit talk groups to talk after I connect with the properly prefixed tg’s. Where I am confused with YSF. I know how to connect ...

SOLVED: How do you disconnect from YSF when using DMR2YSF with DMRGateway?

I have been scratching my head and not finding a lot of info on this. How do you disconnect from a YSF room when using DMR2YSF with DMRGateway?

Initially, I thought that since you use TG7 for YSF, that you could pass a 74000 and disconnect. This does not seem to work, nor does passing a TG4000 ...

nothing the I could tweak in the settings?
If not I’ll put a note on the repeater website about it.

Yep. One def. help would be to turn off all the other modes. [emoji3]

Does Wires-X passthrough do anything when no cross modes are enables?

I noticed that even if I don’t select any ysf2*** modes I still have the Wires-x passthrough option in the Yaesu System Fusion section.

My question is does this do anything when you don’t have the YSF2*** modes enabled? Is it best to leave it off or turn it on or does it not matter at all?
