Re: pistar-mmdvmcal - board not supported

When you put it in those terms I guess I thought mmdvm was the firmware on a DVMega. I now understand they are different hardware devices. Is there any other way to determine offsets, other than the trial and error method for a DVMega? I just purchased a Rigol DSO5104 and I am eager to use it for pr...

Re: pistar-mmdvmcal - board not supported

KE7FNS Can you elaborate on this?

I upgraded the firmware a while ago to fix the Icom deviation problem. Is this upgrade what took me away from the 'original MMDVM firmware'?

What's the difference between the MMDVM and a DVMega, I thought they were the same until I read your reply.

Re: DVMEGA using new MD-UV380

If you have an SDR you can calibrate to a time signal and then check your HT. Cheaper than some other tools.

Re: DVMEGA using new MD-UV380

Check the radio, maybe it's not really transmitting and receiving on the displayed frequency. Might need offsets set on your hotspot (counterproductive to your other rigs).

Re: Are hotspot frequencies know?

Just wondering if the frequency of personal hotspots are known to other users when transmitting or at a later date from information stored wherever online? Everything on the internet is saved someplace. The only way to control what is saved is not putting the data on the internet or a device connec...

Re: Newbie needs help adding nextion screen to ZUMspot

Just received my Nextion NX4835K035_011 screen and attaching it to my ZUMspot. Someone pointed me to the Nextion facebook page to get a file for that model -- which I found from PD0DIB. I dowloaded the file, compiled it using the Nextion Editor (v.053), and copied it to the microSD card. Next I con...

Re: change temp fro celcious to fahrenheit

Can you explain to me how to do this again because I am not getting the same display options as you... My Nextion screen is Enhanced 3.2" Simplex, Hotspot is single Hat/Simplex, and for my Nextion options for MMDVM Host I will display below. There is no option for DisplayTempInFarenheit or SleepWhe...

Re: Format SD Card to Work on Nextion in windows 10

Thank you very much this works on Windows 10. It is very slow to format but the format is usable. Thanks 73, W9KJO Use windows to format the sd. The type of formatting is what's throwing you off the success path. FAT16 or FAT32 is the type of format you need on the sd card. FAT32 is preferred. Down...
