Andy,
Thank you!
I am again enjoying Pi-Star. I now wish to build a new duplex hot-spot with Pi-Star but am not sure what sort of Raspberry Pi hat to buy in order to do so.

Re: freeipa-client impact on Pi-Star
Andy, et alia: Well I think I finally got this worked out too! I installed FreeIPA from the repositories, but had to create the file as follows hereupon in order to get the ipa-client-install command to complete properly. I also had to execute the command sudo "mkdir /var/log/sssd" as well...

freeipa-client impact on Pi-Star
Andy, et alia:
If freeipa-client is installed upon Pi-Star 4.2.1 it replaces NTP with ChronyD, would such a change impact the time announcements or other functions within Pi-Star?

Andy, et alia:
I found Chip's code that fixes this problem and opened an issue in the repo with the code depicted that fixes the issue.

Remove bug concerning WiFi Configuration
Andy, et alia: There exists a bug whereby if you have a WiFi that has a period in the SSID the network name is then truncated when you look in the "Wireless Information" under Wireless Configuration in the Configuration menu. IEEE does allow periods to be in an SSID name. 73, Stuart, N3GWG

Re: New releases
Andrew,
Yes, I meant Andy, got confused but thank you to you too.
I hope Andy will look at some of comments on how we might improve Pi-Star, one bug is absolute that I mentioned regarding showing the WiFi name on the configuration status section.

Re: New releases
Andrew, et alia: Let me first state that I very much appreciate the hard work that you (Andrew) and everyone else has put into making Pi-Star what it is and that is by no means lost on me at all. That said, I do hope that my confusion, questions, and suggestions work to improve Pi-Star for everyone ...

Re: New releases
Andrew, I attempted the 4.2.1 release by placing an image of it on my MicroSD card and it booted up but I was never able to connect to the WiFi AP it created. Is there a way I can easily configure it (on my PC) for my WiFi network before I boot it up on the Pi? I seem to remember something about WiF...

Re: New releases
Andrew, et alia: Thank you for your replies. One quick question, I have an old backup image of version 4.1.15 from before I migrated to WPSD; if I dd that old image onto my MicroSD can that older image then be upgraded to the latest 4.2.1 (via the command line or GUI) or must I dd a new 4.2.1 image ...

ZumSpot Duplex for Pi Zero WH
Andy, et alia: Presuming I am desirous of obtaining a duplex ZumSpot GPIO header board that can plug onto a Pi Zero WH, where is it recommended that I obtain one from? Would this device fit the Pi Zero ZumSpot Duplex case offered by C4 Labs? Is there a 3D printable Pi Zero ZumSpot Duplex case that I...
