Re: Pi-stars DHCP Server Interfering with home wifi

Thanks for the reply.

Are there more details that someone can explain exactly how it will not interfere?

Pi-stars DHCP Server Interfering with home wifi

Hello,
When Pi-Star is connected to my home network does the DHCP server on the machine attempt to issue IP's to other devices on my network? As you know a network cannot have conflicting DHCP Servers so I want to make sure the pi-star is not interfering with my home's wifi.

D-Star Reflector for Pi-Star Chat

Hello,
Is there any reflector dedicated to pi-star support and discussion? If not, it would be a great idea. Thoughts?

Re: Call sign change has broken my pi-star

I was about to do a re-build but was hoping not to. I have rebooted a lot and have spent a lot of time double checking values but no luck yet.

Re: Call sign change has broken my pi-star

I updated the Node Callsign value to my new call sign. The Node Type was set to Private under my prior call sign so I switched it to Public.

My radio call sign has also been updated

Call sign change has broken my pi-star

FCC recently granted me a vanity call (from KM6YNK to K6TJO) so I updated this info in pi-star's configuration d-star section. Now whenever I key up pi-star shows no Rx indication. The pi-star logs show: 2019-02-04 15:06:10.755 D-Star, received RF header for wrong repeater (K6TJO B ) from K6TJO P.S....

Re: Send Commands to Radio

Pi-star does not gracefully handle network wifi transitions well. If it is connected to my home then I move to car. Pi-star needs to switch internet connection from my home to my iphone. It takes many reboots for it to finally connect to the iphone.

Re: Send Commands to Radio

Sorry, I am not sure I follow you on that reply.

My tests show that the commands SVCKILL, SVCRSTRT are restricted to the D-Star services. I would like to issue linux commands such as "sudu /etc/init.d/networking restart" which would restart the Raspberry Pi's networking services.
