Well to start these are Neo-Pi (Nano-Pi) and Orange-Pi SBC's not RPis. With version 4.1.8 they both communicate with mmdvmhost fine with the UART speed of 500000 baud. However, with version 4.2.x they do not.

I kinda figured that might be the issue. I believe I read that you needed to have the faster data rate for FM and that 115200 would not work. So... I guess I must recompile at 115200 verses the 406800 required for FM. Bummah

I have been running 4.1.4 beta on my Orange Pi Zero for almost a week and it seems to run just fine. The only caveat is that my repeater only runs straight DMR bridged to a c-Bridge.

Any chance that after you iron the bugs out of version 4.xx on the nano/neo Pis that you will port to the Orange Pi? I and I assume many others have custom built boards for MTR2000's/MTR3000 repeaters or it's European equivalent that have Orange Pi SBC in them. I have 3 of them in service ...
