Re: update loop, update fails

Still got the "new version" reminders at top of screen. Which means you need to run sudo pistar-upgrade I still had the message at the top of the screen too after upgrading. All I did was switch to a different screen ( I switched from Admin to Dashboard and back ) and the message at the t...

Re: Dashboard Data

You can scrape the log file for the information you are looking for. It is in /var/log/pi-star/Links.log One way I use the information from the log is, I set up a few aliases so that I can see the information from the Bash command line. Below is a sample of the way I use them: alias showlinked2='awk...

Is there a maximum number of Pi-Star WiFi Networks

Is there a maximum number of WiFi networks that can be configured in Pi-Star?
I just added added #3 & #4 to my configuration which brought up my question of how many can be added...

Re: Issues with 4.1.4:-(

Hi All, Since downloading and installing 4.1.4, which I could only get with a clean install as the Update tab only got me to 4.1.2 (I think) This reply is not in response to the issue you are experiencing, but rather to the update/upgrade issue. The update procedure does not increase the Pi-Star ve...

Re: Quadnet Callsign Routing Broken (and the fix)

In the Expert Mode, under ircddbgateway, set ircddbHostname to ircv4.openquad.net. I have a follow-up question, this worked for my Zumspot, which is a MMDVMHost, but I also have a DVAP which is configured as DStarRepeater. When I go into Configuration/Expert/ircDDBGateway for my DVAP, there are no ...

Thank you. I found it with your help. I usually don't have that much trouble finding what I am looking for, but that one escaped me...

Re: Quadnet Callsign Routing Broken (and the fix)

I was looking for this setting in Pi-Star and couldn't see where to change it. I see on the dashboard where it is set to rr.openquad.net, but am missing seeing where to change the setting. If anyone knows where that setting is, it would be most appreciated...

Re: 28: No space left on device

Update - The link went to the CSS settings page. Even after 4.1.4 was released this morning it still did that but DID NOT show the 'Service' option for QRZ or RadioID. In frustration I reset the CSS setting using the button on that page (it is meant to only reset css setting to factory) and THE REF...

Re: 28: No space left on device

OK. I finally got the pistar updated to 4.1.3 and found the other thread on RadioID vs QRZ with proposed changes. SO the hotspot is running again, but not how I want it. The links to the Pi-star-local for the 'Callsign' look up edit changes didn't work and after browsing all the config pages I can'...

Re: 28: No space left on device

I looked around the forum and it seems some updates now run automatically while the hotspot is running, if I've read that right, so I tried to see if I could do a Sudo Apt-get update Sudo Apt-Get Upgrade... The proper commands for update and upgrade in the ssh connection are: sudo pistar-update sud...
