Re: Reflector "Not Linked' Issue

Re: GPS/APRS.fi via radio
My radio(s) are set up to send gps out (Id-51, Id-52, Id-5100) however going through a hotspot does not result in my location showing up on aprs.fi. If I key up through a dstar repeater, it does. My question was how do I get it to show up on aprs.fi going through a hotspot which it sounds like, is n...

Re: Reflector "Not Linked' Issue
I just did the whole process again sitting at my desk at work today and same issue/same fix (unlink command, relink back to ref030C). This time I took the time to watch the dashboard during the boot sequence and it appears it is attempting to link to the startup reflector PRIOR to the MMDVM light tu...

Re: Reflector "Not Linked' Issue
It's really doesnt seem to be a 'network' issue. I am reproducing this at a fixed position on my desk in my office with no disruption in the cell connection and can reproduce the issue just as fast as I can get the pi-star to reboot. The fact that it will continue to result in a "not linked&quo...

Re: Reflector "Not Linked' Issue
I don't think it has anything to do with my network or cell provider for several reasons, primarily I can repeatedly reboot the hotspot and re-create the same issue with the same fix by issuing commands in pi-star itself. 1) There are no cell extenders installed here 2) My phone is continuously broa...

Re: GPS/APRS.fi via radio
I have all icom radios (51A, 52A, and 5100) so I will have a look. But bottom line is pi-star in itself does not do this is my takeaway

Re: Not Linked on Repeater 98% of the time
Welp, I dont know WHY this unable to link repeater thing is happening but I have found the (annoying) way to fix it. When my pi-star boots up I 100% of the time am unable to link directly to a repeater, it says "Not Linked". If I go into configuration and click "Apply Changes" un...

Re: Connect then Disconnect of REF at initial boot.
So I am noticing something odd with 2 hotspots, one is a duplex(Pi 3b), the other is a simplex(Zero W). When I plug them both in for the first time for the day, it will show its connected to the set startup reflector, then it will disconnect from reflector(001 C), and in order for me to bring up th...

Re: Reflector "Not Linked' Issue
this appears to be an actual bug. there are other posts on this sub describing the same issue. I had the same issue today... brought my hotspot to work and on bootup it would not connect to its default reflector (30C) on startup. I repeatedly tried to connect and it would say "Linking to REF030...

Re: Not Linked on Repeater 98% of the time
if they are not stored or updated in any host files like the OP said, how come all of a sudden linking to a repeater will randomly work and other times it stops?
