Re: Pi-Star 4.1.14 Internet Connection issue

I know for a fact that it worked on verizon before I updated as that was how I was using it mobile. Then it might of been one of the recent updates. Are you trying to use DTMF and link/unlink repeaters? if so: https://forum.pistar.uk/viewtopic.php?p=19149#p19149 If not can you explain in more detai...

Update your hotspot and hopefully that will solve it.

Re: Pi-Star 4.1.14 Internet Connection issue

Could this be a port issue or is it something different? I agree with AF6VN. Check your router for UPNP settings and enable it if possible. If you don't have UPNP, then you will need to do some manual port forwarding. It could also be possible your ISP blocks certain ports so you might have to talk...

Re: Loss of DTMF Decoding PLUS loss of ability to edit ircddbgateway config file from Expert Menu

I may be on to something.... I spun up a new hotspot last night and DTMF is working fine - one thing I noticed is that when you use the Pi-Star Admin Menu -> D-STAR Link Manager, it invokes remotecontrold (which I noticed on my functioning hotspot). On one of my repeaters, I do not see the 'remotec...

Why wouldn't you take a few minutes and get it to be as low as possible?

VA3UV wrote: Sat Jun 12, 2021 5:49 pm As I mentioned previously, DTMF did work for about a week after the upgrade.
The question is which upgrade?

I don't really know what application is capturing the DTMF and allowing you to link or unlink, are you saying you setup a new command in pistar-remote?

Re: MMDVM + pi4b - heat issues?

throttled=0x0 So that's good news, unless this gets Reset when the Board is powered off and restarted. It will report various things, if it has experienced an issue previously or if it is currently experiencing an issue for a number of things. It is reset every reboot, but basically what 0x0 means ...

Re: MMDVM + pi4b - heat issues?

Which is higher than without the Heatsinks when Idle, I'm not sure why that should be? Odd, the adhesive must not be transferring the heat as efficiently as it should. 60C is when it should begin thermal throttling the CPU, so as long as you haven't hit that temp it isn't all that big of a deal. MM...

Re: Dimmable oled / led’s on/off

I suspect that the LEDs are a fixed brightness due to the current limiting on the PCB, or is there a setting in software/firmware to adjust there brightness? No, I'm afraid its not possible to adjust the LED's brightness on a MMDVM_HS hat with software/firmware. It would require removing and replac...
