Re: Changing WiFi AP on already-configured boot image
Thanks all for the help and advice. Finally tracked the writing to FAT partition problem down to a faulty uSD/SD card adaptor stuck in read only. Now fixed and connected to new Starlink router.

Re: Changing WiFi AP on already-configured boot image
Thanks Brian.
I did try that but with the SD card image mounted on my MacBook I am unable to write anything into the root directory.
Maybe I should try Windows?

Changing WiFi AP on already-configured boot image
Having changed ISP and router, is it possible to change the access point SID and PSK on an already-configured boot image? I have lost my backup file and have no other record of my PiStar config other than the bootable SD card. I am using a MacBook and am unable to simply copy a revised wpa_supplican...

Re: OLED placing
Make SURE the pins on the OLED do not touch the RPi's GPIO underneath. That is one of the dumbest PCB design decisions I've ever seen. This the exact problem I have with a Chinese MMDVM board with OLED. Presumably I can simply snip off the protruding pins to clear those on the Pi Zero below? https:...

Re: Unattended connecting
Apologies for the late reply. I did subscribe to the thread but got no alert.
It is exactly as you thought. That correlates with the timing of his reporting I 'was on'.
Many thanks and 73s.

Unattended connecting
A fellow ham has pointed out that my call sign is shown as 'on air' briefly at exactly 4:00am some mornings according to the 'last on' web site which scrapes its information from D-STARusers.org. Would this be my hotspot (which is left on 24/7) running some kind of automatic test connection periodic...

Re: Can listen but not talk out
I think this has something to do with the Icom being a 1st generation D-STAR implementation. The 'L' on the end of the UR: entry was inserted by the radio, not by me. A second entry, UR01 is set to *******U (*=space). Am I doing something wrong in linking every time I press the PTT button? I don't w...

Re: Can listen but not talk out
Update to my previous. By changing the radio Ur: to REF001C I was able to call out and just had a brief chat with a ham in Canada. Pi-Star reporting the following which is different to what I see on every other entry: https://i.ibb.co/x55Jp2Q/Screenshot-2019-10-22-G8-FKL-Digital-Voice-Dashboard-1.pn...

Re: Can listen but not talk out
Thanks all for the suggestions. I am a bit further along but still not able to call out. The radio is to blame I think. Programming the IC-9100 from the front panel I have this: Ur: CQCQCQ My: G8FKL R1: G8FKL B R2: GW But there's no place in the radio to program in a reflector. The Pi-Star is set to...
