Re: DMR Repeater has Intermittent Dropouts

Yeah... KE4LRS was a bad example because he's on an HT, but he was the one who contacted me. It's NOT just him... it's a variety of users. And no, I'm not talking about ToT... I'm talking about being 10 minutes (or so) into a QSO. BER has been tweaked within an inch of its life and typically is at 0...

DMR Repeater has Intermittent Dropouts

I have a new DMR repeater at a local site and am experiencing intermittent dropouts on the RF side. The repeater is currently a pair of Motorola Radius, but the issue is identical when the MMDVM/rPi is connected to a MICOR Mobile. The issue also occurs on a dummy load (with or without the duplexer i...

Re: MMDVMHOST FM Parameters Documentation

Is there documentation somewhere for the FM section of MMDVMHOST? No. I've figured out about 60% of them, but it would be nice to know what they all are/do and what the acceptable parameters are. Feel free to create the documentation and help out the community. The naming convention is pretty self ...

Re: Using FM Mode.

Andrew,

Did you ever get any answers on this? I'm seeing the same sort of squelch breaks on FM mode.

I'd also like to get documentation on the parameters in the FM section of MMDVMHOST. Guessing doesn't really cut it.

Ports for DSTAR and DMR

Hello all, I've searched around and found several answers to this question, but they were DIFFERENT answers, so I figured I'd best ask to be sure. I've been given a spot on the tower at our brand new EOC and will be setting up a dual-mode DSTAR/DMR repeater (Repeater-Builder STM32 MMDVM). We've meet...

Re: Nextion Freezes PiStar

NEVER seen that before. I see it every time I boot a fresh installation of pi-star. Maybe you just aren't looking at the right thing. You see a 25C increase in temps every time you boot? I sense you feel I'm an idiot. I'm *NOT* a rPi guru like you, but I'm not stupid and don't appreciate the condes...

Re: Nextion Freezes PiStar

It was 75C when I shut it down. Not background processes. Still nothing to worry about, it will self throttle to prevent damage. Buy a heatsink and setup a fan to get better cooling. And yes it WAS background processes. I have a heatsink and a fan on it... not my first rodeo. Yes... background proc...
