That seems to have been the issue. Network status is now green and a reflector shows up in the D-Star network window in the dashboard. I looked at the ircDDBGateway configuration a couple of times and completely missed the M1ABC callsign. Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply. The frequency text box background is green . The dedicated satellite sub-band is 435-438 MHz. Per the ARRL band plan:
