Re: Post 25th Jan Changes
We have several repeaters running the 4.0.0.RC- at remote locations on mountain tops. All of which have stopped functioning with the eror showing “ No D-Star Network”. I wish we were given an EOL time frame on this. Winter is not a good time of year to go to these sites where the only way to fix thi...

The YSF server resides on the same network as the Pi-star. Adding the local address in the hosts file worke...

Pi-Star expert mode definitions and options
I was wondering if there is a web site or document explaining all the definitions and options for the settings in expert mode. Especially for the YSF GW settings.
Thanks,

Re: Override IP address of a YSF Reflector
If you find the time I could really like you to configure PI-star use the YSF over ride file. /root/YSFHosts.txt
I am not using a Domain name but a static IP so I cannot use the method the other gentleman used.
Thanks,
Gary

Re: Override IP address of a YSF Reflector
I need to do this also.
What is the name of the host file you put in the /etc/
What is the format for the text inside the file.
I have tried this with the format as the daily download but with no success.
Thanks

Re: YSF Reflector List format - "Not Linked"
Perhaps i will try to explain ny situation. The repeater and YSF server are on the same LAN Network. The Landlord supplied Router does not allow loop back to the same WAN address, What I would like to do is direct the PI-Star software to directly connect to the Servers Local LAN address. I have succ...

Re: YSF Reflector List format - "Not Linked"
There was no YSFHosts file at /user/local/etc.
I created one and inserted data variations to connect to our Room as they are on the same LAN but have had no luck.
Has anyone been able to do this or create a usable host file?
