Upon thorough investigation, only part of the config seems to be lost.
For example, my frequencies and such are still there, but the call sign at the top of the dashboard is the default M1ABC.
As I said, no big deal. I have a backup.

Re: Update Failure
No, I didn’t cancel anything. I let it run its course (which took a long time). Then I rebooted using the Pistar web interface.
Wish I had captured the command line output, but I had no reason to think I would need it at the time. I thought a failed update would just leave me at my current version ...

Update Failure
Just attempted a pistar-update…
Got lots of GitHub errors and failure messages. Eventually it worked through all the errors.
Upon a reboot, my hotspot is back to the default configuration. Not the end of the world - I have my configuration saved. But, has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect
This is on the DV groups.io list, the replacement for the MMDVM Yahoo group, posted by Chris F5VMR/G4NAB
"Yes of course the disconnect works on a duplex hotspot. It is in fact a micro repeater after all, despite the lack of attachment of true radios/transceivers. There are provisos however ...

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect
Which Duplex MMDVM_HS do you have? Either look for a name on the silkscreen or take a photo of it.
Its possible we are both using the same one, and theres an issue with it.
I don't think it is a hardware problem (at least not only a hardware problem). The reason I say that is because two hams ...

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect
I think that there are quite a few changes in the HAT firmware since the 1.4.17 release, and indeed since the 1.5.1 beta, that relate to duplex hotspots.
I am not sure when Andy is planning to release the 1.5.x firmware, maybe the other Andy(s) know(s).
Thanks - I'll keep an eye out for the ...
