Re: OLED Display rotation
Still having issues - after the update/upgrade, went to the Configuration page and pressed one of the "Apply Changes" buttons. Then went to Expert > MMDVMHost to make the change to the Rotate setting. Finally, I rebooted. Still does not rotate the display.

Re: OLED Display rotation
I'm still not seeing the new option. I've done sudo pistar-update && pistar-upgrade from the command line (I see that's now on the web GUI too). I'm on version Pi-Star 3.4.16/Dashboard 20181111, but still no Rotate option. What step am I missing?

Re: Auto AP does not start
Depending on the brand of WiFi dongle and the chipset it uses, Access Point mode might not be supported. Hence, the on-board WiFi the RPi 3 and Pi Zero W have is recommended and supported.

Re: Connecting to FCS vs YSF
Thanks, that does help. I was over-thinking it. Once I let it sink in a bit, I can pretty reliably get things connected now. One question for the thread - does this work best if I just leave the Pi-Star hot spot in YSF mode alone, or can it be multi-tasked with DMR and YSF reasonably well (with a lo...

Re: Connecting to FCS vs YSF
Is there a tutorial or a little more documentation on using a Yaesu FT-70D with a DVMega/Pi-Star hot spot? I'm in a region with absolutely no Fusion repeaters and thus a hot spot is my only option for getting any use of the digital side of this radio. From jamming a few buttons (apparently at random...

Re: Freq Range
Thanks for the information! I'd suggest that the DVMega website and Owners Manuals be updated with that also. I'm seeing lots of vendors that sell this board as listing the frequency range as something different than that.

Re: Freq Range
For what it's worth, I have a two year old DVMega, firmware version 2.29 installed on a much older Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+, running MMDVMHost compiled back in August 2016. It works perfectly fine on 445.550 Mhz. Ok, I'm done talking about this now.

Re: Freq Range
That's so weird - I exchanged at least three different emails with them about the DVMega board - how I'm using it with Pi-Star, configuration, etc. You think they would have mentioned the frequency range before giving me a return authorization number. Now I don't want the old one back - wonder if th...

Re: Freq Range
I just returned a DVMega back to Gigaparts as “defective” - I was trying 440.950 and 445.550 - which both would have been within specs as published. Now I fear I just wasted time and money by not trying a different frequency.
