Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
I have tried with my hotspot not present. No change. Desensitation is not the problem in TDD systems, it is only in FDD systems, if RX/TX isolation is poor.

Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
...which reminds me that the RasPi 0 has no 5 GHz WLAN. Does anybody know, how to disable 5 GHz WLAN on 3A+, 3B+ and 4B? That might solve the issue...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
I am solely using original Raspberry Pi foundation power supplies. Only my RasPi 0 hotspot is running on a USB port of my VDSL router. Most interestingly that is the only hotspot without any WLAN issues. So I am sure, in my case it is not a power supply issue.

Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
I experienced similar problems after updating 30 packets, approximately 90 MB. My 4B rebooted fine the first 3 times. After that I had bad luck 6 times and after reboot number 10 it worked fine again.
Weird, especially when you think it has been fixed.

Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
Hi,
I haven't seen anymore issues since I started over with PiStar 4.1.0 RC4. Neither on my RasPi 4B, as Toshen.
Issues may derive from weak power supplies, too.
Kind regards,
Dennis

Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
I'll put my duplex HAT on my 4B to check and come back if I see the same issue.

Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
I have tested this on a Raspberry Pi 0W, 3B, 3A+, 3B+ and 4B. Toshen, I am looking forward to test one of your early 4B+ boards. ;) Once I thought I have the same problem back, but that was due to a failure of my own, connecting the 3A+ to a computer USB instead of to the original RasPi power supply...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
Hi, Your hint was good. I have flashed the latest PiStar Image 4.1.0 RC4. I configured my WiFi and updated to the latest 4.1.0 RC6. After that I rebootet the system 10 times. It always connected properly to my WiFi. :) It seems as if the WiFi issue has been solved in 4.1.0 RC4. But you need to start...
