Re: Using Hotspots in close proximity to one another
An alternative is if you have two on DMR is to enable private mode and use a different CCS7 number per hotspot this way they will only respond to CCS7 ID they have been setup for but they will still suffer desence from the other hotspot. The only way to circumnavigate that would be to insert a notch...

Re: Pi-star keeper service status red?
However remember that the Bluetooth stack for the raspberry pi has been disabled by default so that the UART can be used for the mmdvm hats. So just enabling the keeper service might not yield the result you expect. YMMV of course but you would need to reroute the Bluetooth stack to the secondary UA...

Re: 900mhz
The ADF7021 RF chip is certainly capable of transmitting there, but not sure how it would work with pistar (don't think there's any code to limit its use) The transmit section contains dual voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) and a low noise fractional-N PLL with an output resolution of <1 ppm. Th...

Re: 4.0.0RC3 DMR+ Options= odd behavior
If you have disabled DMR and then reactivate it you'll lose those settings in the options box for DMR+/IPSC2 So you just need to enter them again! StartRef=4800;RelinkTime=60;UserLink=1 Just change the reflector number to suit what you want. If you are only connecting to a IPSC2 server then the synt...

Re: This has been asked before I am sure - but, Static IP's
Is the an easy way to add a static ip to the Pi-Star jumbo spots? Can it be added to the wpa_ file? I would like to be able to set a static ip in the unit that I can take anywhere and know what IP I need to reach it. I have not been successful with internal AP - I usually get the Address Unknown Di...

Re: Terminal settings for the ID51s plus2 and v4 RC3
Android app must have a return accessible Ip on the host and 40000 UDP , 12345 UDP & 12346 UDP open incoming to work on G3. W5LND and myself tested access point/erminal mode with the Icom app's regularly just after G3 was introduced, I setup the 6th G3 gateway in Texas. Using the windows app gave b...

Re: Terminal settings for the ID51s plus2 and v4 RC3
Were any of the serial baud speeds changed from whatever is default in the ID-51P2? I had a heck of a time using the Android app for accessing the G3 Network and in the end it turned out to be the serial speed that was causing the problem. Even if the radio was on the correct speed I'd have to chang...

Re: Pistar Newbie DMR Config Issue
BTW is there a URL/link where all the pistar commands are listed? So far I know about: pistar-update pistar-findmodem pistar-mmdvmhshatflash Thanks, Andrew G4AFI When you at the command prompt, type pistar- and press the [TAB] and you'll get a list of similar commands (the tab is like an auto compl...
