Re: RPI_V4.1.0-RC7 - Disk full

I've found that most of the time it's the pi-star logs that are not getting purged during the nightly updates. So after a few days if you have external screens (nextion) they become unresponsive and the dashboard will also appear to be frozen. Also check what log level you are using as it's handy to...

Re: Pi-Star Dashboard License Agreement

Most of the backend is GPL, but if it's a concern for you, you can always clone Andy's github for the dashboard (links you have already mentioned) and submit a pull request with the changes that you feel suite. It's then up to Andy to approve or modify or decline. By doing it this way you have effec...

Re: DMR Master Connection Timeout & Master is closing down

Sometimes it's just easier to reformat and start a fresh when unexpected things start to happen.

Naturally it's nice to know what went wrong and how to fix it, but time and sanity play a part in that too!

Re: P25 Reflector Help

You should only require port 41000 (unless you have to specify an alternative) So only the one port! Some routers do not handle port forwarding very well, in that you can't specify the protocol (udp/tcp/etc) also it is a requirement that you set the reflector host PC/Pi to use a static IP. I host P2...

Re: Change YSF Reflector from the Radio

Absolutely! On the FT-70D initiate the wires-x protocol connection by pressing the [F] key followed by the [AMS] key. Once you have established the connection, turn the dial until you see... En *----- Then you can type in the desired number required to connect to the system you want. To exit long pr...

Re: Getting barred from the forum

Depending on the software being used for the forum it might actually be an automatic process of an inactive accounts being blocked as a way to prevent hacked accounts from flooding their wares upon us all! (I'm not saying that you've been hacked) Frustrating, yes but it's been resolved now... Sent f...

Re: Enable YSF via XLX

Luc (LX1IQ) has expanded the capabilities of the XLX reflector software to enable native C4FM connections to XLX. It might be relatively straightforward to enable the capability via the Pi-Star menu system. Rather than connect to a local YSF gateway, MMDVM connects to a remote XLX. Here is how to c...

Re: Callsign DB update

Can anyone do a command line via System Corn to just pull the users data base only. Ideally done daily. Norman You can login to the web-ui and under the "expert" tab there's a tab called ssh access. Your login details are the same as when you are prompted to enter with the admin or configuration se...

Re: OpenGD77 - Repeater

The OpenGD77 as a hotspot will only be a tier1 device. It's hardware can't support transmission and reception simultaneously.
