Re: dmr to Dstar Ref24A

XLX Reflectors permit bidirectional cross mode, but not without dedicated hardware in the form of ambe server that uses a pair of ambe3000 devices. Two are required as one is for RX & the other for TX. Without the additional hardware the modes remain unabridged, the ambe server is the magic glue...

Call to P25 reflector owners

Hello everyone,

I've noticed lately that there are quite a few reflectors that no longer respond to the information contained in the P25Hosts.txt

It does not take long to submit an edit on github!

Cheers

Re: FT 70D connection problem

Another thing is if you are running multimode the detection of wires data burst is usually quicker than the scan rate, for one of my hotspots I key up for a second or two, enough time for the hotspot lock onto the c4fm signal and then try to connect... YMMV

Re: MMDVM FW 1.6.0 ??

I thought that the md-380 was only at transmit stage and reception was still a work in progress? [emoji848]

Re: MMDVM FW 1.6.0 ??

Yes, this update will require a newer version of mmdvmhost otherwise the current version won't recognise your modem after the update. I've run into a similar issue with two Zumradio 0.9 board that were accidently updated this morning because I didn't pay attention to the ssh session I was logged int...

Re: ZumRadio-MMDVM firmware update?

There is 2 switches on the mmdvm board, does the 1 marked boot have to be changed before doing the firmware update. or do you just leave everything as it has been running and follow these instructions. Doug ZL3DMH Hello Doug, I'm sure you have this sorted by now, but the ZumRadio boards don't need ...

Re: Anyone else seeing TG0 occasionally

I believe what's happening is the mmdvm device doesn't get the full pre-amble from the other station. This results with the default talkgroup of 0.

Others chime in!

Re: Australian Foundation License - Gateway function - IC9700

The ACMA resolved to allow Australian foundation licences to now apply for a new callsign to replace the old 7 character format. All future foundation licences will not be provided with the VK7Fxxx. So any current Australian foundation licences that have the old format are encouraged to apply for th...

I can confirm the invalid source error as I'm getting it on all P25 hotspots (2 hotspots and 1 repeater) this all seems to have started aroung the Jan 25th update. Re: MMDVM_RPT_HAT for GPIO

You are after the settings located in the configuration, extra, mmdvmhost scroll down until you see references to each mode and a level (think they are all set to 50 as default) be careful with this setting as it will affect the overall deviation and you shouldn't go beyond 2.75KHz otherwise you wil...
