Re: Weird thing with NXDN since 4.1.4
I can confirm the same "Service Not Started" message on both NXDN and P25, but it appears to be bogus as Andy mentioned. Those modes are working for me.

Re: Pi-star Dashboard P25 service is not running
Yes, same here, Scott. And on NXDN as well.
Edit: after hitting "Apply Changes" on the config page, it now reads "Not Linked" under P25 Network, even though it appears to be linked and working as expected.

Restart dash service
Does anyone know what the service or process is that runs the dashboard? And how can you restart it on it's own without rebooting the entire system? Another ham was asking me this on Colorado HD (BM TG 31088) and I did not know the answer. He has experienced the issue where the dashboard stops loggi...

Re: YSF2DMR Issue
This is a second-hand report, but a couple of users on our system (Colorado Digital) were talking about this issue with respect to all YSF cross modes (YSF2DMR, YSF2NXDN, YSF2P25). They said they could transmit on each but not hear the other stations. Rolling pi-star back to 4.0.0 xx solved the issu...

Re: pi testing
Thanks, Toshen. And thanks for sharing your findings about the operating temperature. Yes, the lack of Ethernet Port is s bummer for more permanent benchtop uses, but not a dealbreaker, I think. One other thing of note from some testing this morning on the processes running on a pi-star based hotspo...

pi testing
For those who are interested, I did some testing comparing the pi-zero, pi-3A+, and pi-3B+ and wrote it up in a blog post. You can access it here:

Re: Pi-Star 4.0 rc2 CPU load higher, temps up
I've just discovered another issue with my pi-3B+ / DB9MAT et al duplex board on DMR with 4.0 RC2: not only is it running hotter (even after CLI update), but it's dropping me on DMR after ~60 s during each transmission. I have never noticed that behavior before when on 3.4.16 with the same configura...

Re: Pi-Star 4.0 rc2 CPU load higher, temps up
I've definitely seen higher loads and higher temps on at least one of my hotspots: pi 3B+ with DB9MAT et al duplex board. It now routinely runs >120F when in use, and previously it never ran above ~114F. I have not investigated processes, etc at this point but have only observed the increased T.
