Re: Reflector "Not Linked' Issue
I'm not sure if this will help but I had a similar issue to this thread which I discovered tonight and 'fixed'. This is a recent issue and everything was working perfectly up until a week or so ago. I could connect to all XLX reflectors and also REF079 but not REF001 or REF030. First I thought I ha...

Auto unlink
Is there a way for a reflector to be disconnected after a period of no local RF activity? Users are connecting to busy reflectors and not unlinking - this is causing a massive spike in data usage. The repeater is dual mode with YSF and neither have defaults set to minimise data usage when not active...

Re: Repeater on D-Star and YSF
I've done that however we would like an active D-Star reflector to unlink after a period of no local RF activity - is this possible? On the YSF side, I have set the "InactivityTimeout" under the "Network" setting - hope this is the correct place for this setting. However, I'm una...

Repeater on D-Star and YSF
We setup a new dual mode repeater on the weekend. We would like it not to default to a Reflector or Room - On YSF it's default is NONE however there seems to be no NONE option for D-Star so currently we have it linked to a very inactive Reflector. This helps to reduce data usage (the site has limite...

PRIORITY - LAN OR WIFI
Does Pi-Star use LAN as a priority over WiFi? We plan to run 2 MMDVM repeaters and two routers on different networks. I'd like each repeater to be on a different router but be able to fall over to the other in the event of a router/network issue. I need to prevent both repeaters connecting to one ro...

Re: update loop, update fails
I've just managed to update 4 Pi-Star hotspots at home and one repeater remotely via the yellow banner update link. All 5 are now showing version 4.1.5 and operating as they should (but I'll keep monitoring). I've also setup a 5th hotspot with a fresh image (v 4.1.5) having not used it in a few mont...
