Combining a YSF # and XLX Modules?

Looking for some info on how YSF works with Pi-Star and also an XLX reflector. The summary of what I am looking for is if it's possible to join an XLX reflector by YSF# and then somehow choose which module on the XLX reflector to connect to? The XLX software can be defined to auto-join a module in t...

Re: Add a reflector

Andrew - do you know what the refresh interval is? Mine has been on register.ysfreflector.de (#63340 US XLX331) for ~4-5 days now but hasn't made it into Pistar yet.

Re: Add a reflector

I was just about to post something similar about a missing YSF ID. It looks like the list at http://www.pistar.uk/downloads/YSF_Hosts.txt hasn't been updated in the last few days? I put YSF #63340 online a few days ago and have been waiting for it to show up in the list.

Re: D-star network RED

If you key up to the hotspot while it's red, does the hotspot report it decoded D-STAR (i.e. show your call making a CQCQCQ transmission)? You should also be able to do a local echo test. If so, it's likely coincidental with the firmware. Either the reflector you're connecting to has problems or you...

Re: Missing reflector

I got in touch with KE4DYI who runs the D-STAR reflector for DCS679. He had a system crash and wasn't able to recover the callinghome.php file with the hash and has had problems getting it to show back up in the XLX registration directory. The reflector is online and operable. If you put the followi...

Re: (RENAMED) Question on D*_Hosts

So I've realized I was making a key erroneous assumption. I've never used the D*_Hosts.txt overrides for a reflector that had completely fallen out of one of the online directories before. Previously, I've used it only for a change in IP that hadn't propagated yet. So when I added DCS679, I went int...

Re: {DCS,DExtra,DPlus}_Hosts.txt No Longer Supported

Making an entry in the DCS hosts in root should stick. You'll need to enable write mode. rpi-rw before you edit the lists but an entry there should stick. regardless of running the update procedure. Right, it should - but it's not. I'm in as root and the mountpoint is RW. I've tried this on two of ...

D*_Hosts Overrides Don't Change Admin Menu (Solved)

On v3.4.17, I'm trying to fix a problem with a reflector being offline in the XLX registery due to a lost callinghome.php (not mine, helping out one of our users). I added the item to /root/DCS_Hosts.txt and ran the update to rebuild the hosts files. However DCS679 didn't appear. I tried adding it t...

Re: Missing reflector

I saw this thread awhile back and the coincidentally was asked the same question by one of our D-STAR users. Do you know who runs the reflector and what type it is? Looking at the XLX registration list, XLX679 isn't registered (see http://xlx.megalink.network/index.php?show=reflectors as example). S...

YSF Room Scheduled Linking?

Is there a way (perhaps from the cli) to schedule room linking for YSF? We want to bring up a state-wide net on a specific schedule but don't want to leave the room linked full time due to the business of that room.
