Re: Help needed with TGRewrite commands

You could add a Receive Group with both time slots to the channel and then you would be able to hear it. Otherwise use Digital Monitor/Promiscuous for the channel. Edit: Ooops, if you are running a simplex hotspot, RF will only be on TS2, so I am not quite sure what your server does with time slots,...

Re: Help needed with TGRewrite commands

Well this kinda whats happening: TGRewrite1=1,310195,2,310195,1 <== I thought this should rewrite any 310195 on slot one to slot two and put on network 4 TGRewrite2=2,310195,2,310195,1 <== I thought this should rewrite any 310195 on slot two (from above or RF) to slot two on network 4 TGRewrite3=2,...

Re: Help needed with TGRewrite commands

I think you will only be able to hear TG310195 on TS1, and TG311887 on TS2. ....I think.

Selected MMDVM_HS_Dual_Hat (DB9MAT, DF2ET & DO7EN) > Apply Changes.
Reselect DMRGateway as DMR Master, selected BrandMeister and DMR+ Masters > Apply Changes.
Copied Original Text to Configuration > Expert > FullEdit: DMR GW > Apply Changes.

Re: MMDVM not starting up

Not sure if it is related to changing "Modem Type" but it sure messed up the Pi-Star. The Admin screen was almost the same as the Dashboard screen. Configuration>Expert>Quick Edit DMR GW was blank, however it all still worked. Restored previous configuration with STM32-DVM/MMDVM_HS to get it all bac...

Re: MMDVM not starting up

I tried the duplex hat and SD card on a Pi 3B+ and it started on power-on. Back to the PI 4B and tried the "MMDVM_HS_Dual_Hat (DB9MAT, DF2ET & DO7EN) for Pi(GPIO)" modem type and it did start ok on power-on. It did wait for about 20 seconds before the LEDs did the 3 quick flashes. Picture of the boa...

Re: MMDVM not starting up

I have exactly the same problem with a Pi 4B (2GB) and duplex MMDVM hotspot hat. It happens after "Shutdown", remove power, wait a few minutes and reapply power. I didn't go as far as re-flashing the hat, but found that by doing a "reboot" the hat would start working with all LEDs flashing 3 times t...

Re: New Overlay for DMRGateway - welcome your comments

Beginners question, how can I log the "Rule Trace"? Edit: Ok, I should have looked before I asked. I found it in [General] RuleTrace=1, so the new question is can I view this log live? Edit2: Beginners answer: Google it, my bad. Found this tail -f /var/log/pi-star/DMRGateway-2020-05-22.log seems to ...

Re: Btech DMR-6x2 HT

Hi Kevin You could try reducing the Tx power in Configuration>Expert>MMDVMHost, scroll down to "Modem" section, find "RFLevel". The default is 100, most people suggest changing this to 10, I have found performance is still ok for me setting it to 5. I understand this to be % of max power. Hope this ...
