Re: upgrade to ver 4.1 rc3?

I noticed that the "Service Status" section of the Admin page has several "green" things running that aren't configured here, e.g. : $ ps auxw | grep -iE "p25|ysf" | grep -v grep root 663 1.9 0.4 4132 1984 ? S< 19:06 0:06 /usr/local/bin/P25Parrot 42011 mmdvm 665 3.2 0.5 5012 2808 ? S<s 19:06 0:10 /u...

Re: Using ipv6 and Pi-Star 4.0.0.RC4?

... No surprise that it can't reach the pi-star using IPV6 given mine doesn't have IPV6 addresses ... Pi-Star v3.x has ipv6 disabled by default, v4.x has ipv6 enabled. If you want ipv6 on your v3.x then it's easy to enable it in the last line of /etc/sysctl.conf, just change the one "1" to a zero "...

Re: Running update on 4.1.0 RC1 error

One would hope that it will be as simple as "pistar-update" pushing a replacement /etc/apt/sources.list ... hopefully the same for 4.0rc4 when 4.1 is released.

Easier, maybe. But remember Pi-Star is always in a Read Only state - that may cause all his other stuff to fail.
It's easy to disable the read-only nonsense.

Re: add pistar

It will be easiest for you to burn/boot/configure the Pi-Star image and then install your "other stuff" packages (or compiled source) on top of it.

buying a Ferrari to drive 50 feet to the mailbox.
Sounds like fun to me.
It would need a trailer hitch for me to want it.

As mentioned in another thread recently, https://amazon.com/gp/product/B0792BW2VH/ is a good candidate.

How did you get to the Configuration page in the first place, and how are you attempting the connection now? Details will help others help you.
