Re: MMDVM/Pi-Star Won't Respond to RF Link & Unlink

G8NSZ -

It’s probably related to this issue, which looks like has been resolved. I manually updated and things returned to normal.

Re: Loosing Startup Link

I've been linked up for almost two hours and I am seeing hotspots reconnect to my reflector. It's looking like things are once again right in the world. :D

MW0MWZ and KE7FNS - thank you both for working through this issue. The next cup of coffee is on me.

Re: Loosing Startup Link

Kit -

Which version of PiStar are you running on your hotspots? Are they all using YSF or different modes?

I have watched my reflector also and normally there are 10-12 hotspots connected at any given time but over the last few days that number has dropped to 4 or 5.

Re: Loosing Startup Link

Update -

I tried setting the reload value to 1440 this morning, but it automatically reverts to 60. I have tried this a couple of times and the setting reverts back to its original value. The reflector does not stay linked and still drops. I am no longer able to re-link from the admin screen ...

Re: Loosing Startup Link

Update:

My hotspot dropped the link again and would not re-link using the admin panel. A reboot brought the link backup, but it seems that the issue is still present.

Re: YSF Network "Not Linked"

This issue seems to be the same as the issue posted in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3718

MW0MWZ has addressed the issue and things should hopefully return to normal.

Re: Loosing Startup Link

MW0MWZ and KE7FNS,

Thank you both for taking the time to look into this issue and applying a fix. I ran an update this morning and rebooted my hotspot. Upon reboot it connected to my startup reflector as it normally does. I will keep an eye on it today to make sure it stays connected.

Thank you ...

Re: Loosing Startup Link

Here are a couple of screenshots from the logs. If I am reading it correctly it seems to disconnect after it runs an update.

Re: Loosing Startup Link

I am also experiencing this issue. I don't have time to sit and watch it continuously, but it seems to unlink from the YSF startup reflector every 60-90 minutes. Several other stations that are connected to the same reflector are experiencing the same issue. I am on 4.1.5. I first noticed this ...
