Until recently, I had the same issue. Motorola MG7550 modem wasn't letting DMR through no matter whether I disabled the firewall, put the hotspot into the DMZ, or did port forwarding on all ports starting with 22. I ended up getting a modem only with no wifi and it works great now. Just for info sak...
