Interestingly, the hotspot link in my first post hat has a 4 pin header for a Nextion display. A YouTube video such as this one shows the Nextion display connected to the Nextion header: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njrX7Rpawsc. Is this not the way to connect the Nextion display to the hotspot?

So if I were to use a 7 inch Nextion display for my hotspot, would I use a capacitive (CTP) or resistive (RTP) touch panel or does it matter?

What I was trying to say was that it would be nice to be able to use the Pi Foundation 7 inch display with my Raspberry Pi hotspot hat instead of the Nextion 7 inch display, however, the hotspot hat doesn't have a ribbon cable adapter ...
