Problems talking to YSF when connected on 4G
Hi All I’m on holiday in ZL-land and I brought my zumspot with me. It’s connected to the hotspot on my iPhone. The dashboard shows green besides YSF, YSFNet, MMDVMHOST, YSFgateway and YSFParrot. When I press PTT on my FT-5D and check the CQ-UK-C4FM dashboard, it shows me in the MHeard. But, I can ne...

Re: Dashboard not updating
The only way I could see to fix it was to re-flash the card. So I did, and all is OK now.

Re: FT-70D not connecting to Wires-X
That was it. I fixed it by going into the radio menu and setting `W-DGID` to `AUTO`
Thanks!

Dashboard not updating
My pi-star node has been working fine for ages. Today, I see that the dashboard is not updating. The node is connected to a YSF channel, and I can change to a different one from the dashboard, but this is not reflected in the "YSF Network" box and there is nothing showing on the activity p...

FT-70D not connecting to Wires-X
I know this has been covered before, and I've tried all the solutions (AFAIK), but something is wrong. Hotspot running Pi-star 4.1.6 2022114 Only YSFGateway and YSF2DMR are configured (I have also tried with just YSFGateway) YSF00001 - Parrot as Startup Host Uppercase Host files and WiresX Passthrou...

Re: Newbie post: configuring DMR on ZUMSpot
You could always drive to Caxton Gibbet or slightly further east and see if you can work through GB7PY, that would give you the option of confirming that the radio is set up correctly. I know the radio itself is working, because I have used it through PY; just not from home. It's getting the right ...

Re: Newbie post: configuring DMR on ZUMSpot
That capability has nothing to do with Pi-Star... You'll need to read the manual for your radio and maybe also some general documentation of how DMR itself operates ... Thanks. I guess I'm in a chicken/egg situation here. I am not able to reach any DMR repeaters from my home QTH, so the only way I'...

Re: Newbie post: configuring DMR on ZUMSpot
Use is by doing a manual dial (Private Call) via your hotspot to the required reflector. A recent update to the IPSC2 servers now provides direct access to the relevant TG by using manual dial, this time as a Group Call. See the entries marked with ** on the above page. Woosh! Straight over my head...
