Re: What versions of Raspbian PI are supported by PiStar?
I use Pi Zero W, and I acknowledge it is slow but once set up it is more than adequate for what it needs to do if only operating one mode or cross mode.

Re: Aprs keeps dis connecting
I've now run the APRS overnight and it remained connected and updating in aprs.fi. I'm using euro.aprs2.net.

Re: Aprs keeps dis connecting
Update: I'm connected to a quiet repeater, the last activity was my QSO at 09:08AM, so not touched since then. APRS.fi is still updating after 2.5 hours. Pi-Star: 4.1.6 Raspberry Pi Zero W MMDVM HS Hat on GPIO - v1.4.17 YSF / YSF net. No DMR mode, or x-mode configured. Are you 100% sure that the hot...

Re: Aprs keeps dis connecting
I've switched on APRS this morning to give it a test. I'll report back here later after a couple of hours.

Re: Pi-Star not listening
My approach would be to back up the SD card, or get another one and start again with a fresh install, start with a simple DMR only and only add extra features one at a time if it's working.

Re: YAESU FT-3DR not finding all the rooms
Hi sir,
Could you tell us which modes you have enabled in Pi-Star?
I'm not going to be able to help, but that might be useful information to those that can.
I'm very interested because I'm about to aim the credit card at an FT-3D purchase.

Re: Pi-Star dashboard gateway activity
Thanks Andrew,
That makes very good sense. Understanding this saves me from fiddling around looking for something I've done wrong with the config. In fact the setup to make Pi-Star work to use Fusion reflectors with a DMR radio is wonderfully simple and works very well.

Re: Pi-Star dashboard gateway activity
Found the solution under DMR specific. Never had this problem with DMR, only YSF, which is why I asked about it in this forum. But here it is anyway, for reference: It was nothing to do with coming in via a different repeater, that was just coincidence. https://forum.pistar.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1899

Pi-Star dashboard gateway activity
Hi All, I just need to check if some of this pi-star behaviour I'm seeing is as expected or if I might have a configuration that needs adjusting. I connect using DMR2YSF as my DMR master setting. I connect to a YSF reflector attached to a local repeater using a DMR radio, this works - I can hear the...

Re: Connecting to room
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for helping out, you have affirmed for me that I'm getting it right. I think the problem may be just that the room has no activity.
