Can't upgrade beyond RC7
I have several hotspots running Pi-Star. I just updated and upgraded all but one of them to 4.1.0-RC10. The last one will not upgrade beyond Pi-Star:4.1.0-RC7 / Dashboard:20200203 no matter what I do. NTP time is right. I tried the update/upgrade from the GUI and from SSH. Rebooted several times and...

Re: TGIF Lands in Pi-Star
Andy, Phil and others, Thank you for adding TGIF support to Pi-Star. Many of us were manually configuring this access. Several of my friends were unwilling to mess with their solid Brandmeister configurations to manually configure TGIF. Having this network built-in is a great addition. The nice thin...

Nextion on USB1 with DVMEGA Bluestack on USB0.
I was having trouble running PiStar on RPi3 with a DVMEGA/Bluestack on USB0 and Nextion on USB1. The DVMEGA runs fine without the Nextion. When both are plugged in the DVMEGA can't initialize and mmdvm host just cycles up and down. I have to actually configure the display to None to get the DVMEGA b...

Re: Nextion wired to a DVMEGA
I don't think you can use a Nextion screen directly wired to the DVMega. You can directly wire an OLED screen because it uses different pins. The DVMEGA and the Nextion use the serial port on the GPIO for direct wire. There's only one serial port so you can't use DVMEGA and Nextion at the same time ...

Re: Nxdn not working
You need to be on the latest Pi-Star 3.4.16 Do an Update until it says already up to date, then do an upgrade. Repeat update/upgrade until you get to 3.4.16. You also need to be on MMDVM firmware 1.4.1 for the HAT. See https://www.toshen.com/ke0fhs/images/3-Pi-Star_firmware_updates.pdf For the duple...

NXDN Information
I have a friend with a local NXDN repeater connected to NXCore. I have a handheld Kenwood NXDN radio. I recently got a DMR radio and started building hotspots. When I saw NXDN support evolving and available in Pi-Star I tried to use it through the hotspot. While my hotspot was showing NXDN activity ...
