Re: Pi-Star not seeing any Transmissions local RF activity any more!
Yep, that's what it was KE7FNS! Stoooopid me changed the call sign in the 9700 gateway entry, but the 'MY' callsign box was what I thought a text only box as it contains additional info such as rig/location or whatever you want really - hence thinking that was just a text box. Alas not! As soon as I...

Pi-Star not seeing any Transmissions local RF activity any more!
Hey All - appear to be having trouble getting my ZumSpot Rpi MMDVM to detect local RF activity in Pi-Star. I upgraded Pi_Star to 4.1.6, am able to connect to reflectors, and the modem device responds to shutdown requests, modem changes etc. I should mention that I also requested a call sign change a...

Re: Additional network via mobile phone
Thanks for all the replies folks. The issue I have is that when I add the phone network SSID and password to the pi-star configurtion, I still don't see 2 networks listed in the network section of the comfit page after I save and connect (to the existing wifi network as I am still at home). I will t...

Re: Additional network via mobile phone
Based upon other threads, Pi-Star does not automatically rescan for WiFi. It does one scan on boot-up and connects to the first WiFi configuration it finds a signal... If none, it goes to Auto-AP mode. So... You'd have to be out of range, and then reboot the device to pick up a different WiFi acces...

Additional network via mobile phone
Hi All Just curious about this, but I have a second MMDVM with Pi-Star that I use with the car, and tends to work sort of OK, with DMR but not so well for some reason with D-STAR. Anyways... I am thinking of using my existing home based RPi + MMDVM with my mobile phone as the internet source when ou...

Re: Increasing the number of lines to display for previous stations
Hmm... Another post gone... I don't see a reason why... :? Oh well... If anyone needs what was written, please contact me via private messages. ;) Yes indeed, very strange I have no idea why this was removed. I hadn't had time to test it out, but did plan to this coming weekend. Thanks anyway for y...

Increasing the number of lines to display for previous stations
Hi folks
Is there a way to amend any code such that more than the last 20 or so stations can be seen in the list of previous stations? Or is this something I shouldn't be asking?

OLED display on RPi 3B+ not working... settings??
Hi All So, I had a few issues with my MMDVM hotspot last night which have now been resolved, and I am also now setting up my RPi 3B+ to use as a mobile hotspot with the MMDVM hat for use when out and about mobile in my car. I will also eventually use this hotspot for both DMR and D-STAR. I currently...

Re: No longer see Pi-Star WiFi and can't connect browser
All very weird eh!! I don't think its weird at all. If you reboot it, and every time it comes up it responds to pings, and it functions fine as a hotspot, but the dashboard doesn't work, then you've identified the issue. You'll need to log into it (or plug in a keyboard and monitor) and look at the...
