Re: Dmr2ysf disconnect?

I noticed that too, there is no Disconnect code for DMR2YSF. But if you look in the list of FCS repeaters, you know, like FCS290 or FCS286 in the top of that is FCS100 (DMR2YSF [through DMR Gateway] ) is 7100100 FCS room 100 just says Repeater and no other descriptor. I take this to be just the loac...

Re: Tac talkgroups can no longer be added as static?

Those are probably all the Kerchunkers. Now that 310 is not static, I bet you'll see a lot more garbage like this.

Re: add pistar

Easier, maybe. But remember Pi-Star is always in a Read Only state - that may cause all his other stuff to fail.

with the price of a RasPi0w or a RasPi3+ if you want a full size, why not just buy a second Pi for the Pi-Star?

Re: HTTP port change

What does the port number have to do with running several devices? Change the hostname. (defaults to pi-star [or pistar on some older installs]) just change this name, apply changes and reboot. e.g. I run two http://deskstar/ and http://mobilestar/ a port number would do no good anyways because it's...

Re: Noob trying MMDVM Hotspot and no Pi-star.local connect

Computer? if Windows pi-star.local will not work -- try http://pi-star/ if nothing else find the IP of the Pi-Star and use it instead. If you are using a Cell the only way mine works is the IP as the Cell hotspot doesn't do nameserver stuff like a home network would. If you see pi-star-setup in the ...

Re: Firmware update problem

If you get that error on both board - it's not the firmware nut the board itself (mostly) "Failed to Init Device" does not mean wrong firmware (even though on a Zumboard it would be. Please try what is suggested here several time On the WHITE Zumspot Zumboard use: sudo pistar-zumspotflash rpi you ma...

Re: New to DMR & PiStar

Cheers Fred;OK from what I gather, you really should not have your hotspot on the same frequency as a 'real' repeater, as if you travel with your hotspot to an area you can hit the repeater, you could cause problems. Next, If moonraker codeplug is based off of the PHOENIX DMR in UK you need to set y...

Re: Install Pi Star on Linux Cinnamon HOW ??

I am not sure I'm the right person to answer this but... Pi-Star is a custom image of Raspbian made for SBC (single board computers). Think of Pi-Star as an automobile engine, many, many parts. Linux possibly CAN handle Pi-Star, but it would take a LOT of work trying to get the right parts. Not to m...

Re: learning cron command

Thanks w7efs, you taught me something. As I posted, I didn't think my modification would work either (wasn't sure about the quotes or having a space for arguments. Yours also strings 3 commands together with the && . See even I can be taught a new thing. One night I think I caught the Young people's...

Re: learning cron command

I haven't heard of using cron in this way , but yours (if it did work for this) would connect every minute from 7 to 8 pm as your syntax is malformed. 0 19 * * 4 pi-star "sudo pistar-link xrf002a" > /dev/null 2>&1 and this assumes MY syntax is correct as I am not sure about the quotes for the comman...
