Maybe I confused things a little when talking about expert mode..

What I'm referring to is fresh build of pi-star, and selecting a DMR service other than BM, it's not possible via the basic GUI to enter a hotspot password.

With more and more DMR servers now offering or indeed requiring hotspot passwords it would seem beneficial if users could set these passwords more easily in the GUI. When using DMR Gateway mode we can "easily" edit expert mode to set the hotspot password. However when not using DMR Gateway...

no the one I compile doesn't work... well pistar-findmodem doesn't see it. The HEX I posted does work fine though.
