Re: Intermittent transmission

Update:

I reverted to DMR Gateway and it started failing again. Back to DMR+ only and fine again.

So, the problem is somewhat in the gateway...

Tomorrow I'll test with Brandmeister via gateway and Brandmeister alone...

Intermittent transmission

I'll post it here, as I don't know exactly if it belongs to another sub-forum. My configuration is: - Simplex hotspot with Pi Zero W - Latest Pi-Star 4.1.4 Dashboard 20210305 - YSF active - DMR active in Gateway mode (DMR+ linked, BrandMeister connected to spain server, but no TG linked) Since sever...

Re: TS1 radio button BM Manager

I agree with you, Rafa. If TS1 can be selected, it can drive some unexperienced/new users to malfunction of their hotspots. It should not be complicated to disable this selection when SIMPLEX mode is selected.

Re: Admin reflector not changing

Maybe I could suggest a change: The admin Reflector change application, seems to change the startup reflector selection. It could be stated as it is. And, as BrandMeister API administration app, it could also show, in the center of the screen, the actual reflector it is connected to. When working wi...

Re: Admin reflector not changing

Ok, I answer myself... I was looking at the reflector CHANGE selector, and the start reflector in the Configuration page. But I forgot to check the lower-left part of the Admin view, where it clearly states "YSF Network" and "Linked to ..." and it shows the real linked reflector....

Admin reflector not changing

Hi everyone. I noticed that changing the room/reflector from my FT-70D makes no effect on YSF Link Manager in the Admin view of the dashboard. I managed to change rooms, connect to YSF2DMR and then change DMR talkgroups, reverting to YSF room, etc. BUT the reflector listed in the Link Manager remain...

Re: Ver 4.1 and Pi zero w

Thanks! Now I keep the dashboard tab closed and I only access when I have to check something or perform an update once or twice a week (it's off every day from 00:00 to 9:00 approx, so it doesn't update automatically overnight). Every time I access the dashboard (computer or smartphone) I notice an ...

Re: Ver 4.1 and Pi zero w

I reinstalled the case cover (all aluminium), and the temperature seems not to increase. I've not seen anymore temps above 50ºC. I wonder if having the dashboard loaded in a browser tab increases the CPU load, because I closed it and now I just access the dashboard to check activity and/or temperatu...

Re: Ver 4.1 and Pi zero w

something about Raspbian buster seems to be a little less efficient, but 50C isn't close to the limits for the Zero, the SoC can run quite a bit hotter without issues. Perhaps you should leave the temperature indicator green until something like 55C. Seems that a majority of people are freaking out...
