Re: DMR Reflectors - Why?

DMR reflectors are still widely used with DMR Plus. What I have found is that different DMR+ servers do not support all the same TG's but they tend to support all the reflectors. For example, not all DMR+ servers support TG 320 (Quadnet) or 302 (Canada Wide English). Reflectors 4541 and 4580 respect...

Re: DMR2YSF connecting to wrong room

Thanks for this thread. I am glad to know the problem isn't at my end. After playing around, I found the following: CanadaLink: 7100119 in radio connects to FCS00117 (down 2) CanEnglish: 7100284 in radio connects to FCS00280 (down 4) Alberta: 7100315 in radio connects to FCS00309 (down 6) Those are ...

Command for DMR+ TG Connections

I have found commands for BM, TGIF, and DMR2YSF that can be used in System CRON to make connections to TG's at specified times, but not for making connects to TG's on DMR+ IPSC2 servers. Is there such a command? For example, I would like to connect to Freestar DMR+ TG 23426 Friday afternoons for 3 o...

Re: dmr2ysf not working

If you are using DMR Gateway with DMR2YSF as Network 3, then you need to use the 70 prefix in the TG number in your radio. For example, if you want to connect to YSF North America (561), use TG 7000561 in your radio, as per the default rewrite rules in he Pi-star configuration. [DMR Network 3] Enabl...

Re: New Overlay for DMRGateway - welcome your comments

That's nifty. I have 2 MD-380's and 2 GD-77's. One friend has an RT-3S and another one has an RD-5R. The only person with an Anytone that I have configured is using it with an Openspot 2 hotspot.

Re: New Overlay for DMRGateway - welcome your comments

I have been following this thread with great interest and modifying my codeplugs and Gateway settings. Thanks, Andy for the explanation of what the rewrite rules are doing. Pi-star has a lot more capabilities than I ever imagined when I first saw it. I can see that I am going to have to update the h...

Re: New Overlay for DMRGateway - welcome your comments

Hi, Andy. I haven't run into any problems with DMR+ timeslots but I don't use the TG's that you made special allowances for. I suppose that part may only come into play in a repeater situation, where I an just using a hotspot. I gave BM the 10 prefix just to be consistent so that everything on my Pi...
