Re: mmdvmcal tutorial requested

Is anyone else having trouble with MMDVMCAL? I can choose a mode and set a frequency but when I press the space bar to transmir, I get an error message an dit won't transmit. Something about a NAK and commands to the modem.

Re: DMR2YSF problem

Thanks, Andy. I followed your instructions and the problem remains. Whenever I enable DMR2YSF, no matter what 7xxxx TG/Ref I try (I use DMR Gateway, the only talk group thst provides reception on the radio is 700009. Which is odd because I have never had anything to do with 000009, which doesn't eve...

Re: DMR2YSF problem

I and others are having the opposite problems no DMR2YSF functionality in 3.xx.17. I've tried the major YSF rooms during prime time and I receive nothing and get no returns to my calls asking for a signal check. If I revert back to the previous version, it works. I have not been able to get it to wo...

Re: dmr2ysf

My DMR2YSF stopped working with the latest update of 3.xxx.17. Some folks raised this in the FB group and were told that 3.xxx was near the end of its life and that they should upgrade to 4RC3. So the DMR2YSF problem has affected multiple people.

MMDVMCALNot Wkrking

I can select a mode and enter a starting frequency, but when I press the space bar to start transmitting, I get this error message which results in the transmitter failing to work and thus the whole program not working. Here's the error message: "Received a NAK to the CAL_DATA command from the modem...

Re: Model 8 and Groups.txt and stripped.csv

UPDATE - chmodding stripped.csv got me call signs back, but still no QTHs or TG Info from groups.txt. Just to bring you up to speed: I'm using the 3.5" model 8 dash. I downloaded stripped.csv from the MD380Tools guys (identical in format to an older version posted by Rob in his repo) and groups.txt ...

Model 8 screen issue

I've got the Model 8 3.5" and love it. However, the feature that switchesb the IDLE screen and the screen that shows the talking station's info in big letters rarely works. Most of the time I'm stuck on the Idle screen where I can see DMR IDs on the bottoms and sometimes a call, but cant get to the ...

Model 8 and Groups.txt and stripped.csv

Hi- I'm using a 3.5" Nextion enhanced with the Driver installed and working. I use a Model 8 and want to display user info (e.g.., call, name, qth, country) and TG info (names and numbers). I followed the instructions and uploaded /usr/local/bin and commented out the DRMID file location in MMDVM.ini...

Re: SFTP to filesystem (please help, going crazy)

Thank you all for your replies - I've tried all of your recommendations and none of them worked. The only thing that works is FTPing the file to personal web server, and using wget to pull the file off the server once it has a URL. It is terribly cumbersome. As I sometimes need to upload 10 or 12 ti...

Re: Widgets/Applets to quickly change common settings

Very true. A for instance: D-star folks are dominated things on a particular evening and I can't get a word in edgewise on DMR. A little widget to allow me to turn off D-star and reboot would be great. I imagine the API will be a major undertaking and could produce an ocean of poorly-executed softwa...
